What a great organization!! All staff are volunteer and really want to help. Their bikes start at $25 and include a helmet. $10 for a U-Lock. (Unreal low prices!) All bikes are donated and inspected by bike-loving volunteers. They have a 1 bike maximum per person per year. If you are looking for some wheels: you will find NO better than Golden Optimists.

We took 2 bicycles there to be donated. They refurbish the bicycles and offer them to those who can't afford them. Volunteers working there are friendly and care about the community. Its so nice to have charitable organizations like this one.

The staff were all amazing and kind! Mickey noticed I was a novice and even helped me with how to get on the bike and switch gears. Another kind staff member gave me tips to shorten my daily commute. After a lot of time spent on Craigslist looking at bikes I can't afford, Golden Optimists saved me!

Great deal on a used bike and it came with a free helmet. The staff was very helpful considering I haven't ridden a bike in at least 15 years... But it's as they say... It was like riding a bike! They also had locks for purchase. I recommend donating more than they ask. It's a great deal and I'm sure the extra money helps 😊

Awesome resource in the community. Bikes in great shape and great prices. They help out many people in need and deserve your donations if you can spare more than your bike costs! Also they just reopened their tues/thurs hours since COVID-19 and are back in business.
