Denied service to veteran and spouse and demanded we leave a $2500 European purchased Luis Vuitton purse at the front desk claiming its policy meanwhile there were 3 other people walking around the store with purses in hand. When we said no to leaving it at the front they got very stand offish and demanded we leave. As we were leaving the ladies at the counter announced don’t let the door hit you on the way out. Very nice place to show “gods work” and a very sad excuse for a store claiming to be a ministry.

After being stranded here in Colorado I managed to stumble upon this place by accident not knowing anything about this location or what they offer. So after I perused through the whole store had quite a few things in my hands this lady demanded that I give her all of the things that I had acquired throughout my looking in the store and then once I went to go pay she refused to explain it to me even after I told her I was stranded here and knew nothing about anything or what they were really I thought they were just a thrift store. She was so rude. She did not want to mess with the tap to pay and I do not have my physical card on me. She was super frustrated you could tell and I didn't even do anything wrong because I have money in the bank and I tried to tell her this and I tried to show her this and she just told me that I needed to go without my possessions that I had acquired throughout the store. So now I still have absolutely no clothes or anything else for that matter besides my phone and if you monetary pointless possessions. Worst experience ever. For a place now that I see supposedly helps people I don't know why that lady was so rude and treated me the way that she did. I did nothing wrong.

This place is amazing, they let ypu pick out food, and they have great deal. You can come everyday, when open. They are also generous about helping ypu out on holidays. Make sure you bring your Colorado i.d.

The people here are extremely rude to people with disabilities by singling them out by yelling at them from across the store and demanding they leave for no logical reason or justification they are a sad excuse for Christians because whatever God they represent is clearly not the one I worship

Not worth the cost of gas, was told to go here by care and share. They gave a family of 4, 5 cans of food the cost to get a ride here I should have ordered food. Was trying to save money since I'm a mom and student currently unemployed looking for work. Don't go here if your struggling it was such a waste. We also had to go back to get an ID and an old grey haired woman who Identified herself as the woman on the phone tried to gaslight me she wasn't rude to me over the phone and that they didn't have his ID. Will update after we go back to check footage on cameras.

*Update* we had to contact police dispatch because they did not show me footage. Later we found out they had given my husband's ID to someone else. And we only found out when we realized he didn't have it and came back to retrieve it. So they do check ID here but they did not look at IDs when returning them. However, the gal who gave his ID away was kind enough to pay for its replacement.

Please be vigilant should you go here for assistance and make sure you have your ID. My husband is partially deaf and the kid who swears she gave it back to him placed it on the table, since I never saw video footage I can't say for sure if she said anything to him but there is a big difference in putting a card by someone and handing it back to their hand. I just have to trust what the officer told us which was the kid took his ID and another person gave his ID away on accident.

He couldn't get any help today anywhere else or apply to jobs because he had no way to identify himself for any benefits such as TANIF or unemployment.

I understand mistakes can happen, but please change formatting to just look at IDs not take them and if they are taken please hand them back immediately as this whole situation could have gone differently if better precautions were taken.

Personally after my experience today I will never be returning. It left a bad taste in my mouth as we are struggling to get back on our feet. My husband is a veteran and didn't do his 20 years, so we got nothing in return.

This is the worst place I have ever gone to. The owner is rude, they take all donations included food for there friends and family. They are very racist against blacks. Someone should really take a look at this place. I'm new in town it was an very awful experience. I bought a couple of item that didn't work. They wouldn't give me a refund nor store credit.

Hi this is a wonderful ministry store giving out free clothing and bread items. One suggestion: the store looks overcrowded. My friend with a walker has trouble getting through the aisles. Maybe have color coded price tags with discounts on the colors on different days like how Goodwill, Silver Key thrift store do. This keeps the store looking in ship shape and not overcrowded with too many items. Thanks for reading this.

A good place to get food and a variety of other items cheap, however the lady that runs the place is often rude and incompassionate whether on the phone or in person. I called to see if they had a certain item because I don't have a car and it's a hardship for me to get there so I can't waste a trip, and she said "I don't know what we have! I'm not going to get up and see! That's ridiculous!".
