I was granted a unit by the GKFF's Downtown Tulsa Partnership "Pop-Up Downtown" program, and I would never recommend this organization to anyone, ever. The people running the program and strategizing (Zakerion Strategies) with local business owners are completely unqualified, and I was granted a unit in The Boxyard that is leaking from both the ceiling and from under the doors. As an artist/business owner who sells handmade fiber art, this was highly distressing, as my inventory was partially ruined by water and mildew, and the unit itself was a safety hazard. Rather than address the safety concerns (such as people shooting up drugs on private property, etc.), the members of the Downtown Tulsa Partnership accused ME of being unprofessional, evicted me from their grant program, and scrubbed my name from their promotional materials. Not only is the program obviously just a tax write off for the George Kaiser Family Foundation, with no actual thought given to enhancing the local economy, it is also a shady grift, in that 1/3rd of the "grant" money has to be paid to a local landlord in "rent". After telling me I was the most qualified applicant in the entire city (I was), they then tried to smear my business name, despite their ineptitude and ego maniacal practices being the root cause of the issues. The entire GKFF is a massive tax write off scam posing as philanthropy.

I'm not sure this organization is doing what the claim they are doing. A lot of funds are used for unnecessary staff, consulting and software. They are managing a relocation for work program while forcing employees currently there out the door. Just unsure they are worth the presumed value.

I wrote a very long review about how wrong they were to kick my daughter out of WIR when she was thriving so well. Now I want to say that she has been incarcerated for two years now and is not allowed a 2 yr judicial review or the opportunity to go back into WIR because of what WIR makes you sign when you go into the program. My daughter wants to finish the program loved the program had three offenses after overdosing twice before let in WIR. The first being a girl in the program giving her dope. Melissa telling on herself because of the guilt. Second looking at her facebook page not messaging but looking so unauthorized communication and then her third and final reason to throw her away and put her in prison by Rachel Decour own hand taking a gabapatin prescribed to her at our house for her restless leg syndrome. Walking to the bus riding several bus a day to counseling to her job at the IHOP. Why can other girls go back in after going AWOL committing crimes and you all had Melissa Ann Winkle sign that if she didn't graduate she wouldn't qualify to come back. If you all are so concerned and want the welfare of the addicts to become productive members in society why do you throw away the very one that was doing it all holding her head up high not addicted to opiods not overdosing loving WIR to rot another year in prison with us the tax payers paying for it? Why? The DA won't even let us ask a Judge after two years in prison now graduating from Prison Fellowship getting 10 certificates if she could come back to the program. I honestly do not see any good in the way things are run in WIR when they cant after a two year punishment for the infractions above give a woman and opportunity to finish their program. Especially when she should of never been terminated to begin with. Mary Christian

I got to visit 501 TechNet. It's a place that is supported by Kaiser. It's a nice place to work but very dusty because of the old computers that has to be cleaned out.
