Stopped briefly to check out this horse and walk trail. Way too hot in summer months...BUT in cooler weather perfect.

As far I know, it is a community owned hiking trail to a view a-top a hill which gives you a 360 view over Redlands, Yucaipa and adjoining communities. With spectacular views of all the snow covered mountains, including beautiful, orange poppy-covered and purple lupus covered vistas. It also includes extensive bicycle riding dirt trails. All of the dirt trails we encountered were well maintained. There are some steep portions but we had 70 year-olds in the group who lingered behind but make the hike okay. There is a house on the property but I'm not sure if it is open to the public. We believe there are community gardens being set up for locals to work their own plots, (However, that is just a guess.) Enjoy!
