"Cada persona con la que me encontré aquí fue amable y útil. Me ayudaron a navegar por mi experiencia desbordante y a encontrar opciones. Recogen donaciones y ofrecen un servicio de entrega, además de un regreso garantizado para los artículos que no encajan en las necesidades de un cliente. Me tuve que reconectar con ellos después de entregar mis donaciones y fue el único inconveniente en una experiencia extremadamente útil."

Every person I encountered here was pleasant and helpful. They helped me muddle through my overwhelming experience and navigate my first time visit. They pick up donations and have a delivery service along with a return/warranty for items that may not fit a client’s needs. I had a flood and this agency was recommended and it had quite a few options as well. Getting reconnected with them after drop off was the only hiccup to an otherwise extremely helpful experience.

(EDIT Someone named Robert called me and was very rude and aggressive, and would not listen to me. Which was the whole point in calling me. He asked me to tell him what the problem was and wouldnt be quiet so i could tell him what happened. He seemed to want to argue, and said bro bye and hung. Very professional employees you have.EDIT)(EDIT I called in to get in contact with them. They pretty much told me that there's nothing that can be done and there is no owner so i'm not really sure what the point of somebody commenting on this and saying the contact them.EDIT)Asked for a washer and dryer and a few chairs....they brought me 3 loosely put together chairs. And told me they had no washer and dryer for me..... they could've told me that at some point before this and I would've cancelled....the only thing I needed and was looking forward to having was the washer and dryer. And find out when they pull up, they don't have it....I'm not being ungrateful. I'm just saying this wasn't right.

Asked for help and this bug filled, 1980s couch bed combo was brought with blood stains broken wood etc. The delivery drivers left the items outside while raining in the mud. Now waiting for bulk pick up!! I'll never ask for help again.

Great experience. I had a few pieces of furniture and household goods to donate. The process was easy and the staff that assisted with the pickup arrangements was pleasant. The day before I received a call that said the pickup would occur between 10am-1pm and the truck arrived during that time period. The drivers were efficient, friendly, and appreciative of the donation. I recommend Furniture Bank of Central Ohio, a worthy organization helping those in need. Keep up the good work.

The process of donating was easy and everyone was professional and kind. They will call the day before and I don't even have to be there! Great organization!

I wish I would have read the negative reviews about donation pickup and lack of phone service before scheduling with these people.

TL;DR: I paid $25 for people to mess up my house, and not take a couch.

When the employees came to pick up my couch and refrigerator, they stated the couch was too stained to take. I thought it was ridiculous, as it is in perfect shape with the exception of one or two water spill stains that are actually pretty hard to notice (I provided pictures via the scheduling tool on their site before scheduling pickup).

They then proceeded to move a refrigerator up the stairs without measuring which way to make it through the door (and without using an appliance dolly). When they realized they couldn't fit the fridge through the door, rather than rotate it, they tried to force the fridge through the door, breaking my door and denting / tearing a lot of the trim. It was only when I asked them to stop and turn the fridge that they quit trying to force it. They didn't understand what I meant by rotate it, so I had to physically hold the fridge (on the stairs) and rotate it for them. I let them take over again. Since they weren't using a dolly, they dug the corner into my flooring, crushing the flooring in that spot.

Once they opened the truck, it was clear why they said the couch was too stained, they would have had to re-arrange the truck in order to fit it in. I told one employee I wanted them to take the couch, and if their manager thought it was really too stained I would pay the $50 disposal fee. He then told me the couch wouldn't fit, and that they still had 2 stops left. I let him know I've been holding onto this couch (which I could have had disposed of when my new one was delivered) for a month. He suggested I call back and schedule another pickup.

I then tried to call the Furniture Bank to discuss the terrible experience, but like many others before me discovered, they don't seem to answer their phones. No matter which option I chose, I always made my way to a "this mailbox is full" message.

I'm out of Goodwill's pick up range. If you are the same, I would suggest renting a truck and taking furniture to a Goodwill drop off location. That would be much less of a hassle than dealing with these people.
