I am so grateful that I found Dr. Phil Sledz, while doing a Functional Medicine search in Austin, Texas. When I moved here 6 months ago, I made a promise to myself to take the time and money to tackle several chronic health issues that I had been dealing with for at least 10 years. My main concerns were digestive issues, intestinal pain and inflammation, acne, fluctuating energy levels, headaches, and heavy, irregular periods that came with slight depression and cramps. After my initial meeting and reviewing results from a blood test with Dr. Phil we came up with a plan to address each of my problems. After just a few months I noticed significant improvements in the function of my digestive system, energy levels, and mood. We made a few more adjustments to the plan and now I am beginning to see improvements in my acne and skin quality - my skin looks and feels younger! Dr. Phil's approach addresses anti-aging as well and I'm seeing improvements with other areas of my body.

More recently I started experiencing some back and pain and neck stiffness due to prolonged sitting and/or standing at school. After the first visit my neck felt brand new, and after just one more adjustment my back was pain free. Again, I couldn't be happier!

Working with Dr. Phil is an absolute delight because he doesn't just treat symptoms, but he sincerely listens and treats me as a WHOLE person. He really does care about the well being of his patients. When I first started working with Dr. Phil, he made sure to follow up my appointment with an email summarizing my test results and my treatment plan so I would always have that as a resource. I found Dr Phil Sledz while doing a Functional Medicine Search in Austin Texas. I realize that there are many types of health practitioners who practice Functional Medicine, however I also realize that a true Functional Medicine practitioner is highly knowledgeable in natural methods to resolve health issues, as opposed to those who still rely on medications, which creates more 'dysfunction' and more health problems. Dr Phil focuses on working with the body to correct health issues and not create more unwanted side effects. He helped me with my low back pain, and even did it without using chiropractic care. He has a vast tool kit to draw from when correcting your health issues. His practice also focuses on anti-aging. I highly recommend.

I was a fighter pilot for over 20 years and the heavy G forces along with the twisting and turning of the body core necessary to fighter aviation had taken its toll.
