Shahidrah Cowgill has been my guide, friend, and therapist for over a year! All I can say is she is amazing in her depth and understanding of people and the challenges they face in a modern world! I have come around 180 degrees in the last year with Shahidrah’s help and guidance! After my wife’s passing I was unengaged lethargic, and didn’t much care about whether I lived or died, not so any more! I am fully connected and anticipating life with a new found love and living my best life thanks to Shahidrah, she holds me accountable and remembers all
the fine details, still doing status checks to this day! Can’t say enough good things about Fundamental Foundations, I trusted them with my life and was repaid many times over!

I've been involved with Fundamental Foundations for over a year, and I have had the best experiences. Shahidrah is AMAZING, to say the LEAST. And the team is always responsive and professional whether I communicate by phone, text, or email. I also love that there are options for service delivery, including virtual and various in-person locations. They actually deserve an extra star, kinda like extra credit or bonus points.

We loved Mandy, my daughter's therapist, but the counseling center is no longer filing insurance, is no longer a preferred provider, and increased their rates. I overpaid when I did have insurance by more than several hundred dollars, and they have been promising to send it to me for months. Love the counselor, but unfortunately cannot recommend the business.

I've been attending this center for a few months now and I have seen such dynamic changes within my life because of it. From the reception staff to the counseling staff, there is a great energy and presence that is very welcoming. This center is built on great practices and morals and I believe Shahidrah is doing an exceptional job.

Fundamental Foundations Counseling has been a Godsend to me & my family. I located Shahidrah Cowgill’s information from an internet ad and called based on what I read about her and her staff. I’m so glad I was led to do so as through her counseling and support, brought me through one of the hardest times in my life. I recommend her along with her staff as they truly care about the whole person - mentally, emotionally physically and psychologically. I’ve learned and have been inspired through my individual sessions, through group sessions and through the wellness retreats. I’m a better person today and I’m so happy to have Shahidrah and the Fundamental Foundations Counseling staff as a resource.

Everyone needs help throughout their life time. In some seasons of life we thrive, and in others we completely fall apart. I'm so glad I have Fundamental Foundations by my side. Shahidrah Cowgill is my therapist and with the tools and counseling I have received, I am able to get out of my "hard seasons". I recently participated on individual EMDR and it was very helpful. I am on my way to live my life to the fullest.

I recently attended a Virtual ASSYST Clinic with Ms. Cowgill via Zoom. I am here to say it truly was an amazing experience. The technique Ms. Cowgill used and walked me through felt like a variation of EFT, more specifically like tapping in an alternating pattern, combined with breath work aka deep belly breathing. It was that simple and am certain that even children and teens will be able to do. Plus it can be done anywhere and doesn’t require any sophisticated equipment or technology!
At the beginning of our exercise together, I had taken a ‘ small problem’ that was weighing in on me. Much to my surprise, mid way through it this ‘problem’ felt much lighter and at the end of our session, it had no more pull on me!! Of course had I taken a larger/deeper issue, it could possibly required a few more sessions but nevertheless, I truly believe that this technique would have been effective!
I highly recommend the Virtual ASSYST Clinic with Ms. Cowgill.

So far, I've only had a phone consultation, but I was impressed with the patience and forthrightness of Mrs. Cowgill. She emphasized that the counselor/patient relationship had to be a good fit for both parties and refrained from giving the one size fit all line. I look forward to seeing how she might be able to help me and my family.
