When my friend died, both her kitties went missing. One day someone trapped the black kitty and dropped him off at Friendswood Animal Control. Animal Control officer Ashley went out of her way to help him. Ashley saw the lost kitty fliers on Facebook and contacted me. Today the kitty is home with me and I'm forever grateful to these wonderful people. They went above and beyond for this lost little soul.

There is nothing I can say, but THANK YOU! My daughter and I went to the shelter seeking our purrrrfect kitten. Not only did they have one perfect baby, they had SO MANY PERFECT CATS! All waiting to go home, waiting for their people to come and rescue them.
This shelter is in need of loving homes for their cats (and dogs). There is something to be said for sheltered animals, for they are the lost and often forgotten. This is the whole reason for adopting a shelter baby, they are MOST GRATEFUL for your help, love and kindness. The employees at this shelter are kind and caring people, who are doing the best they can in an overcrowded situation. PLEASE, if you are considering a lifetime companion, seek out Friendswood Animal Shelter for your future pet. Currently they are waiving the cat adoption fees (25$), as they have no room for new animals.

Not only did we find our precious baby boy Hutch, but we also found a sweet girl (who we named Opal), we left with 2 of the most perfect kittens who will be loved forever.
Please adopt! Save a life, receive unconditional, lifetime love from an animal that will truly be grateful 🙏!

Thank you to the wonderful staff at the shelter, you have made my daughter and my lives so much more fulfilled.
We are eternally grateful for all you do for these animals.

Found a dog that looked like it'd been dumped on my way to work and didn't have time to drop him off at the shelter, plus he smelled like he'd been rolling in dead stuff and was covered in mud. Called Friendswood Animal Control and the man that answered was extremely rude and was essentially accusing me of lying and implying that it was my own dog that I was trying to get rid of and making up a story about. He refused to send someone out to pick him up and said that I couldn't bring the dog in if I found someone to drop him off. I found the dog dead on the side of the road two days later. If the guy that spoke to me sees this, I hope you feel good about yourself. Maybe find another profession.

Great Service!!! Provided us with a trap on two separate occasions within the last month and then came and promptly picked up the opossums after we trapped them. All employees very helpful and friendly!!!
