This has been a good temporary home for Mom while she recovered from a hospital stay. The staff has been wonderful! Melissa,Yolanda, Ken and
Lori were a tremendous support to me and our family. They were all so friendly, knowledgeable, and genuine. Every staff member I encountered was helpful. I had full confidence in them. Mom gives the place five stars too. She said they took great care of her and physical therapy got her back on her feet. A+

I visited this community and was impressed with Jennifer. Jennifer is in charge of the activities. I volunteered to make cotton candy for the residents. I had never done an activity here before. Jennifer made me feel very comfortable. I enjoyed the way she interacted with her residents. Very Nice and Loving. Also I was impressed with Madison, the social worker. Also I was impressed with Yolanda, the discharge planner. They both took the time out of their busy afternoon to come by and meet me. After all, it isn't every day that a volunteer comes out to make cotton candy! The residents were happy. I could feel the love and it was so nice to see. Friendship Haven , Thank you for having me . I look forward to our next activity!

I want to tell you about Julitta Phillips (Jo) in Medical Records. Jo is my go to person, she sets up all the transportation for mom and everything goes smoothly. I do appreciate her. I love the facility and the employees.

The employees on 200 hall (quarantine), the PT and OT, Pam in housekeeping and the kitchen staff are outstanding and made 20 days of my stay with them warm and enjoyable.
My 2 days on the 500 hall (non quarantined) was miserable and I could not hardly wait to get out of there.
The goal of a health care facility is to provide quality and consistent care to all patients all the time without fail.
It is the facilities responsibility to have clear written procedures and protocols in place and ensure that all employees are aware of them and follow them.
It is the facilities responsibility to act on any and all complaints and ensure employees treat patients with compassion, care and respect.
It is also the facilities responsibility to ensure consistency throughout the entire facility not just 1 hall.
This could be a great facility but at this time the only thing it has going for them is the staff on the 200 hall and the workers I mentioned at the beginning.
I can not reccomend this facility to anyone but I can recommend certain employees if any other facilities are in need of a few Top Notch employees.
Update on this facility, upon release I had issues with my pharmacy filling the written and phoned in prescriptions as it was too soon. On 1 of my pain medications, I had to wait 5 days before the pharmacy would fill it. They did however call my husband back down and gave him the remainder of a pain medication the equivalent of CBD capsules.
Their response to why there were no medications sent home from the facility was they kept all medications ordered for me and turned them back into the pharmacy for credit.
They did not go back to my insurance nor my pharmacy and correct the amount I actually had.
I'm not sure what type of credit they would have received on my used inhaler.
Last week I had issues with a pain management doctor.
I will be investigating this further and come back to update with additional information.

If you love and care about your loved ones don't send them here especially as a long term resident. They are under staffed all the time. They leave them soiled for extended amounts of time, they always lose clothes so do your own laundry and the overall care is just not great. I had to move my loved one from here because he was not getting good care. They only get 1 star because I had to choose a star to write this post or they wouldn't get any stars

I was a patient for a total of one month for total right knee rehab and as 100% disabled Vet was transfered from Michael E Bakey in Houston Texas. One of the biggest reason for choosing it was to be close to my daughter in Pearland Texas to further continue my rehab after discharge. My I take the time to comment of my stay there. As it is stated by many of Nursing Homes as being a place not to go to, I must say I was expecting the worst. Much to my surprise, Care Providers Staff over all were very pleasant and attentive in every way. One thing that stands out is certain personnel being exceptional are, at the top, are RN Jeannie Swan, very dedicated as a Med RN. There's many more, Jennifer and "Max". in Activity, Courtney and Edsel both of them my "Loves" in Unit 500, Lupita in Appointments. Must say my Theraphist Dario, with out a doubt, without him I couldn't have made it

My 88 year old mother recently had to be admitted to a rehab facility after a partial hip replacement and we chose this one. She was on the rehabilitation side of the buildings.
Of course, there is no place like home and there is the fact that patients may have a roommate. But the personnel here are so wonderful. They do their best to be accommodating in spite of being so busy. Everyone is so pleasant, friendly and have good attitudes toward their patients. They treat everyone with dignity. Erin is such an outstanding nurse and she got things done with such a pleasant attitude. Other favorites were Jeanne, Nicki, Angele, Monique, Becky and Michelle. Therapists that were incredible that I got to know during my mother’s stay were Loreena, Alina and Jeniece. There were others whose names I regret I didn't know. All of the professionals here were so good to my mother and for that, I appreciate them very much.

Staff don’t care about the residents; neither do administration. Human Resource personnel ghetto and cursing during orientation. Favoritism almost staff members. No compassion for their residents.
