This is my sanctuary. My home away from home. As an alcoholic and addict in recovery I know I can come here to relax, warm up, cool down, meet my sponsor and hit a meeting. The Cafe is awesome and the space is clean and inviting. Thank you Free!

I have been attending FREE for just under 1 year and I have brought several guests with me to experience the love, connections and support I have received there. The premise of the church is “We don’t do Shame” and they live and breathe by that motto from everything that I have seen. I was really lacking spirituality and connection in my life and I am eternally thankful that a friend brought me to FREE!

This community knows me as Cai. I’ve been coming to Free since I was just 17 days clean off fentanyl and now I’m over 500 days and have been celebrating with my Free family every week. Since the first time I walked through the doors, I felt like I was finally home. Their motto is “we don’t do shame!” Which is something I absolutely love because there is so much shame and stigma related to fentanyl and just addiction in general so I just tried to hide it from the world and that’s what kept me sick for 20 years. Pastor Ryan created a safe space for me to recover out loud and to not be ashamed of where I came from because it made me the person I am today; someone I can look in the mirror and be proud of. He also explains scripture in a way that makes sense to me, which is something I’ve never been able to find with other churches. Tami Canaday is an amazing woman that started Wagon Coffee to support people in recovery. This community means more to me than I can express with words. I get excited to go to Free every week and celebrate, hear an amazing message, and a beautiful story from an addict, a loved one of an addict, or a spiritual refugee. Highly recommend to anyone struggling or looking for a community where they can belong, no matter their background or story.

I am SO grateful for this community! I am the loved one of many friends/family who struggle with addiction. I walked into Free and was welcomed by the most humble community that I’ve ever been able to be a part of. They have a coffee shop Wagon coffee which allows the women in recovery to give back to the community in service. There are meetings here on a daily basis. The give people hope and a reason. Every weekend stories are told of sobriety dates ranging from days to many years. I would bet many lives have been saved because of this community and I know for fact mine has been changed for the better. Thank you Ryan and Tami for the place and these people.

I started attending the Free service in early 2024 after a friend recommended it to me in late 2023. I so enjoy Ryan and Noelle's sermons; the "We don't do shame"; the guest storytellers; meeting wonderful members of a community where people are working on healing; and, the Enneagram classes. I have been on a healing journey for 33/34 years and Free has brought so much healing and growth into my life this past year. I am so grateful and thankful to the Free Community! Thank you for being you!
