I have never been so disappointed in a "free" service that helps other people. I had made arrangements for a pickup for my 80 year old mother at 9:00am yesterday. They missed their 9:00am pickup, said they would be there at 11am, missed that time and said they were on their way at 1:00pm. My mother waited in a cold house all day and nobody had the courtesy or respect to call and cancel. I called several times and nobody would return my call and I can only hope by sharing my experience that you call The Samaritan House as I called 1st thing this am and they are going to pick up today. Very rude, unprofessional and border line a SCAM! DO NOT CALL THESE PEOPLE!
