I worked at this company for three years and, unfortunately, cannot recommend it as a positive workplace. During my time there, I observed a pattern of favoritism, where promotions often went to less tenured individuals who had closer personal relationships with leadership. This created an environment that felt heavily influenced by internal politics rather than merit or performance.

The culture fostered a "sink or swim" mentality, with minimal support provided unless someone personally decided to mentor you. In my case, I was assigned a mentor who was highly capable but overwhelmed with his own workload and subsequently transitioned to remote work shortly after I started, leaving me without adequate guidance or replacement support.

The HR process also left much to be desired. I was ultimately terminated based on serious allegations that I firmly denied and found deeply appalling. When I expressed my disbelief and asked for evidence, I was told that witness statements were sufficient. The tone and handling of the situation felt hostile and predetermined, rather than objective and fair.

Efforts to show initiative or leadership were often met with resistance or silence, particularly when they threatened to outshine others. I witnessed senior managers fail assessments I passed with ease, yet advancement opportunities were rarely tied to performance. One particularly troubling incident involved being asked to terminate an employee with little to no guidance, and with support from a manager who admitted they had never handled a termination before. I was demoted shortly afterward and later dismissed based on unsubstantiated claims.

While I entered this role with the hope of growing within the company, the experience ultimately left me disheartened and stressed. If you're seeking a long-term career with fair opportunities and supportive leadership, I would advise exploring other options or pursuing additional education. This position may be suitable for short-term employment, but it lacks the structure and leadership necessary for sustained professional development.

Don't work here my friend was harassed by the stuff and the stuff had co workers nit pick at her to quit. Get four weeks of pay then leave this job because it isn't worth losing your sanity. It's a social experiment stay woke! ⚜️👑🌻💎🦋the person in this car keeps calling her out her name when she walks by because her husband still works for your company! They both told kimber KC and west about the situation they haven't done anything yet!

I love working here. It's been the best job I've ever had and I am making a career out of this. The job isn't easy by any means but no job should be that easy. I've worked here for over a year now. I started out on phones, then moved up to support, and now I'm a Team Lead. I also go to school at UAGC which is partnered with Sykes/Sitel. The support and family oriented environment is awesome!! I couldn't ask for a better company to work for. 😌

I've been with Sykes now for almost 2 years and it is the best job i have ever had. There are many opportunities to advance and this place will make you blossom into a stronger person and develop you to be a leader. I'm very lucky to be apart of such an amazing work family! If you put in the effort and have the will to give your best each day then Sykes will be very rewarding for you. I never leave work with out laughing and smiling at least once during my day. And that is hard to find in a job where you enjoy being there. Thank you again Sykes family! 💖

This was a decent job in the first two years' beginning there and then, everything just was awful. Support and your coach will claim to have your back, until they don't. You barely get PTO no matter what. The accrual system for it and how it calculates no longer works out well. Management is terrible and if you have any issues or complaints, they ignore it and you. The training is horrible as they just throw you into it and expect you to figure it out yourself. They will come at you for breaking a minute late on break and will scold you for using the bathroom while telling you it counts as your break. The incentives are barely reachable and they will weasel their way out of giving you them or make the requirements super extraneous. I literally would not wish this miserable job onto anyone. They even try to get their employees to review them well on job boards. Would be looking for another full-time job if I were you.

Its a great place to work. The people make you feel like family and not just another employee. You work as a team and have so much support. Have never worked at a place that shows so much love and support. If you want to feel like family Come work at Sykes

Best place to work ever!!! I enjoy coming to work everyday. It’s truly like a family environment here. There is always something going on for employees like snack giveaways, free coffee, free 5 minute chair massages, hot chocolate, games and activities, and so much more. There is usually about one a week. I couldn’t ask for a better place to work.

Sykes in Morristown is one of the best places I have ever worked! Been with the company for over a year and stuck with them throughout many changes, and I can definitely say it was worth it! Working with small business owners is so rewarding and my job allows me to not only come to work, but to make a difference! I love it!
