Foster Alumni Mentors is an amazing non-profit organization. I have learned a great deal from everyone involved in the group, and Kim (the executive director) has the biggest heart of anyone I have met and goes above and beyond for anyone and Everyone. Kim, the Executive Director and founder of Foster Alumni Mentors is so very passionate about helping young men and women who are aging out of the foster care system. Foster Alumni Mentors is a very important part of the Grand Junction, Colorado community. FAM works to help build life skills and higher education goals for this group of youth who have the same dreams as the rest of us. Also, their 1st ever FAMpoint5k race fundraiser, was a fun event to be a part of.

Such a loving and supporting group to be a part of. Even after I moved away they keep in contact with me. These folks genuinely care. Also the outings and get together are a blast. Being with them helps with not feeling forgotten.
