We moved to Fort payne to start life over after tragedy fell our way. With 3 young active kids that are in sports. Star players 2 tome state champion at wrestling and star football player with 28 touchdowns last year at a small school. Fort payne has not impressed at all. Its like money and politics get in the way of a beautiful school and area and dont allow them to succeed. Talent should flood to this area but doesnt. I plan to change that and recruit some boys that arent scared of politics or impressed by money. We are a working family semi retired, over 20 years of military experience and law enforcement related and own our 24 acres here on the mountain. And we pay our dues, money dont run us at all and i will instill in our kids such. We will stay for 1 more year and if things dont change we will take our family and talent and tax money to a location that cares about their community. And pushes their kids to be the best they can be at everything they do.
