Been down on my luck just moved to texas im at risk to becoming homeless veteran with children i expressed this to the service rep who picked up the phone. I wont be able to get food because i can not provide proof of residency, and bills in my name. I was hung up on

A wonderful source of assistance for those who don't make enough money to make ends meet. Aid recipients are allowed two visits per month to the food pantry, which provides a good assortment of perishables and canned goods (and even toilet paper), along with access to a closet full of donated clothes (including school uniforms).

In case it isn't obvious from the listed hours, this facility is open ONLY on Wednesdays, until 1 P. M. While this can be a problem (depending on transportation and work hours), the sheer amount of help they give is amazing, and worth some extra work.
