I'm so excited our FC finally opened. No more driving to grocery shop. I came yesterday and back again today. Yesterday I was going to get a plate with sauced chicken, fried rice and egg rolls but since they were out of egg rolls I just got a small container of sauced chicken. I came back this evening to get a few items and a plate with 2 different sauced chicken, fried rice and an egg roll. The rice and chicken was pretty good, except the chicken that had broccoli. The broccoli was the strongest taste, couldn't really taste the sauce in the chicken. The egg roll was awful. It was a little overdone which was not a problem but it had a very weird taste. I'll just get one of the many varieties of sauced chicken w/o broccoli next time. Hopefully the egg rolls will taste better then the one I had did today.

I just needed to take a minute and praise this team after another great experience today! I have been in multiple times since Food Coty has opened and it never fails to be a great experience. This makes me enjoy grocery shopping again, considering I avoid all like the plague. No matter how busy this store is, everything is fresh and wonderful in the variety of options! And the associates working there are so friendly and helpful every single time! Today, Autumn helped me decide what I wanted to eat because everything on the hot bar smelled so delicious. The deli manager Christa has personally dipped me some of your delicious grape salad when the individual packets were all out. You can tell she leads by example and her team is right there with her, trying to give you the best experience possible. I will keep coming back every chance I get whether it be for the house grocery shopping or to grab something quick and delicious and fresh to eat during the work week. Keep up the amazing work!

What can I say about the brand new Food City that it doesn’t say for its self! I have been in there 10 plus times and every time I have been greeted like I was the owner of the company, I went to the produce and it was stocked with the freshest fruit, I went to the meat department and had steaks cut directly to my preference…I was in there so long I eventually had to go to the deli get some food for nourishment and let me tell you if you needed a plate that was worth its weight in gold then look no further than the Food City Cafe!! Holy cow what a meal for a deal, then I wander over to the bakery for dessert and what did I find, only the freshest cookie cake I’ve ever had. It was so good that when I woke up from my food coma, I found all my groceries still sitting there waiting to go home with me, I can’t say enough good things about this Food City and what it is going to do for our community!!!

I love this store! Where I live it's very convenient for me. Having a Starbucks in the store was a magnificent idea!!! This store is very clean and well stocked. Great for a quick trip or a full blown shopping day ?

Not happy with this store. I purchased a salad already made and when I got home it was so soggy I couldn’t eat it. They did refund my money. So I bought 2 doughnuts to eat on my way home to Crossville Al. Both were dry and just awful. Not going back ever. This was my second visit to this store. Just not worth it. I should have went to Walmart as their doughnuts are always fresh. Not again.

Looks like Food City is running out of steam on their customer service and hospitality. My husband and I were at the hot food counter and they had a $5 dollar feast deal: 1 meat, 2 sides, a roll, and a drink. Awesome deal, plus, if you have the card, you can get two for $10! Well my husband was told very firmly, “No! If you want that deal, you have to buy two meals.” He explained that wasn’t what the sign said and showed her, but she flat out refused to honor the deal. I wanted to try the Asian food they had and was asking the lady questions about the food since nothing is labeled. One dish she said was teriyaki chicken, but was a mixture of beef and chicken, so she wasn’t really sure. She disappeared and another lady walked up so I tried asking her what the other dishes were and she told me what she thought they might be. I said, “So you’re not really sure what they are?” She said, “I don’t really know what anything is, I just make it.” I just looked at her for a second and then told her I wanted to order one of the dishes and she just walked off, never to be seen again. Needless to say, we did not get food from there, and I seriously doubt we’ll be back anytime soon. The novelty has worn off and the prices are too high for such lack of customer service. I can go to Walmart and be treated like crap and it won’t cost me nearly as much money.

LOVE LOVE that we now have a food city without having to drive to Albertville! Prices are great, staff are friendly and the meats and produce are always superb!! We refuse to go anywhere but FC and look forward to fresh tasty produce each week! The fruit trays are by far my favorite!

I was excited to give this store a try, since the Food City we go too in Albertville is very nice and everyone are very friendly and so helpful. Today I visited Fort Payne Food City, the cashier (Johanna and her bagger) didn't even great nor smile, but that's beyond the point. There was a misunderstanding on their pick 5 $19.99. She called a lady to help because I thought it didn't total to $19.99. However the lady said it did, so I said okay I will take it. Johanna was very unfriendly not happy, slam the meat not hard but enough for me to notice her attitude. She was more busy talking to her bagger about buying alcohol and crap. Instead of focusing on giving a customer service she were both busy talking about their personal life. I can only count the people that smile on this store. 90% of the workers looks unhappy and angry. The management need to clean up this store and hire people with personality so people will come back and shop. Would I recommend this store definitely not. I'd rather go to Albertville people there are so much better and they have the best workers and very helpful.
