The school itself is perfectly fine. That being said, the staff is another matter, especially the principal. Who I might add is almost never in her office or the school in general. The month of December my family was hit pretty hard with unavoidable misfortune. We live simple lives with a decent income. Not once but twice my wife was blindsided by a deer coming out of Florence. We did our best finding a replacement car the first time....but the second time took a lot more effort. I visited the school about 5 times in which I was told the principal was not in or even near the school. I was trying to get a visit because the four days our children where absent because of unforeseen causes the principal deemed them unexcused. The fifth time I visited the school (after calling more than 7 times through out this course of time), I demanded the principal see me for a follow up as to why my children were not excused. They stated to come back the following day and she would see me. The next day, I arrived and yet again...she was not present. Instead, I was told by one of her staff that she stated my children would not be excused because. Word for word, "If I excused your children, then I would have to excuse everyone's children." That statement alone explained to me why she was never in her office and or even at the school 80% of the time. Being a principal is her side job that she gets full credit and pay. She could care less about the parents or the students as long as she can do as she pleases and still collect a paycheck. I have since pulled my children from this poorly managed school and have home schooled them with much better results due to having undivided attention from one person rather than a teacher who has to teach over 15 kids, with little to no help from the always absent principal, that I'm sure excuses her own absences.
