The First Unitarian Church of Denver restored my faith in what a church is meant to be. It’s a truly welcoming space where everyone—regardless of background, identity, or beliefs—is encouraged to explore, question, and grow. Instead of rigid dogma, this church fosters open-minded discussions, personal reflection, and a deep commitment to social justice. It beautifully blends spirituality with reason, honoring both faith and science. The sense of community is strong, and the focus on equality and action makes it a place where values are truly lived. If you’re searching for a spiritual home that embraces individuality, inclusivity, and the betterment of humanity, I highly recommend visiting and experiencing it for yourself.

PS - the video added is from a service centered around joy and delight, not every service has bubble guns and umbrellas 🙂

FUSDEN is one of the most beautiful church communities I've ever visited. Rev. Mike Moran is kind, grounded, and full of wisdom. The leadership team is warm and welcoming. Their RE team shines with enthusiasm and fun lesson planning. The church itself is gorgeous, historical, and a beautiful place to reflect and meet new friends. I wish I lived in Denver so I could be a part of this church community full time. Everyone I spoke to had beautiful stories about how their lives were enriched by this group. Highly recommend visiting and getting involved. Sending lots of love!

This UU church has everything. It is a beautiful building inside and out. The large congregation, of all ages, including children, is welcoming and engaging. They have a piano and pipe organ to accompany accomplished soloists and vigorous singing by the congregation.

The visiting minister the morning of
September 22 gave a thoughtful sermon on the UU theology of evil.
We met interesting people at the coffee hour with whom we discussed the sermon and also current affairs over coffee and snacks.

We usually find fault with details of church services. Here everything was to our liking and exceeded our expectations.

A great church and community seeking salvation in this life, raising families together, and seeking justice and worshiping together. Love always wins! I enjoy the music, the sermons, the friendships, and the community. Great Church who is a welcoming congregation!

This church is incredibly rude & disrespectful to its neighbors. They routinely block the common alley, either with church personnel or the near-constant construction. When asked to move their vehicles, church personnel are rude to your face. Now they are installing a series of floodlights, apparently to frighten away the in-house, with absolutely no regard to how a string of high-powered lights will impact their neighbors. How much money was spent on these lights that could’ve gone to housing people?

This is one of the most genuinely caring, welcoming groups of people I've had the good fortune to be a part of. Denver is very fortunate to have FUSD, Rev. Mike Morran and this congregation.
