When we first moved to Greeley, we tried many new churches. As soon as we walked through the doors at First Congregational Church we felt at home. With a traditional feel, but a contemporary and evolving theology.

Since 1992, when I first started going to Youth Group and joined the Youth Handbell Choir, I have been able to be a part of this fantastic Church in one form or another. I have so many fond memories, resting firmly in my heart and soul, because of First Congregational Church, UCC. Memories of the wonderful people that I have met. Memories of the various projects that I have worked on and that I have been a part of. Memories of the opportunities that have been provided for me to be able to help others. Memories of the groups that I have been a part of. Memories of the activities that I have been able to participate in. Memories of my sons and each of their projects and participations. Memories of a comforting place to Celebrate the Life of my brother when he passed away. Memories spanning over the last 3 decades of my life and new memories I look forward to making in the coming years.

Visiting from Denver for the weekend our family found warm authentic welcome (but not weird over the top either) and felt a sense of warmth and comfort right away. On our way home our whole family commented on how we wished that this church was closer to home as it would be the exact kind of church we would like to join. Look forward to more visits in the future.

My family and I searched for a long time to find a church when we moved to Greeley. When we found First Congregational Church, it quickly became a home for all of us. The sermons are insightful, the people welcoming, and there is a strong sense of (sometimes irreverent) community that we love being part of. The youth program has opportunities for fun, service, and reflections on faith. . .and all of those things exist for adults too. The music is amazing, with the pipe organ and the wonderful choir directors. We hope you'll love it as much as we do.

Wonderful and welcoming. Fabulous, often silly, ministers, who are grounded and authentic. They are there for you when needed and very sharp. I am proud to be a member of a UCC congregation whose principles are founded in social justice and social responsibility. Weld County is decidedly conservative; however, I find First Congregational to be open-minded to all perspectives. There is much church life such as well-attended Wednesday night suppers; dynamic youth groups and wonderful music. I would like to see a women's/mom's group and will look into that idea in the near future.

We're more of a classic style worship service. We dabble in more contemporary faith styles and praise bands too and are open to new ideas. I grew up in this place and there's no other church I'd rather be apart than FCC.

Wonderful congregation, great sermons that apply to everyday life and living as Christ intended. They say and mean this, "No mater who you are or where you are in life's journey you are welcome here". Amen brother. A church not of dogma but rather of principal and understanding.
