SUPER informative and interesting museum!!!! I feel really lucky to have been able to attend; the staff were incredibly knowledgeable, kind, and clearly passionate about local history. I loved the historical room setups, and ended up spending about two hours there. I absolutely recommend stopping by!

Also, thank you so much to the person with the pronoun pin who told me about more recent history and living in Ferndale! I really appreciate it. If you ever come up to Olympia, you have family up here.

Very fine local history museum. The docent we had was a retired dairy farmer from Ferndale. Very knowledgeable and entertaining. Too bad the Coast Gurad took the lighthouse lens away from them. It would have been a great addition.

My favorite type of museum focusing on local life. Ladies at entrance were a pleasure to talk with. You could tell they enjoyed being there with pride in their town. Ferndale is the gem of Humboldt county.
