I have been volunteering with Felix Ventures since 2013, with my own experience being nothing short of amazing. After being introduced to Felix Ventures, I was able to witness firsthand how influential and essential this program is primarily due to the unwavering unbiased generosity of Mr. Felix. Through this program, kids from all walks of life are given the opportunity to get out of their comfort zone, put their phones down, and go on an adventure.

Initially, I thought the kids were only going on beach, camping, hiking, and biking trips which for some, are still unattainable experiences without this group. Throughout the year, the kids are also exposed to cultural and performing arts via museums, musicals/plays, symphonies at the Hollywood Bowl--the list goes on. With everything he gives, there are still some trips that all know must be earned through commitment and time.

Mr. Felix strongly encourages the kids to further their education by providing scholarships, coast to coast college tours, and letter of recommendations (to name a few). For many, college would've been out of reach were it not for his assistance.

Felix Ventures welcomes all children of any school district to participate regardless if they aren't a Workman student. I've stood witness to Mr. Felix extending his generosity regardless of economic status, native language, skin color, race/ethnic background, gender, age, etc.

Thank you, Mr. Felix for all that you've done for my boys in the 11+ years I've known you.

As a volunteer parent, I have had the pleasure of knowing Felix and his program for over 15 years, during which my children have actively participated in his program. Felix Ventures has been incredibly welcoming not only to my own kids but to numerous others, fostering a supportive environment that has greatly motivated them. The program provides invaluable opportunities for children to socialize, develop crucial social skills, and forge new friendships. Without Felix, my children wouldn’t have had access to these enticing experiences. Felix Ventures is more than just a recreational program, it instills leadership qualities and imparts lifelong skills. Felix goes above and beyond by offering scholarships and empowering children with responsibilities, allowing them to lead and coordinate activities. Throughout my years of acquaintance with Felix, he has consistently demonstrated respect and dedication. His personalized engagement with each child is both encouraging and motivational. He truly cares for all the children, that he remembers what they like and the things they’re interested in. Even for Christmas he blesses families in need and brings smiles to children. He goes out of his way to this on his own because he truly cares for our community. During the summer months, Felix Ventures has provided my children and the children I care for with a constructive outlet, keeping them occupied and away from less favorable influences. It has benefitted even the children I care for under my care by redirecting their energies positively. Felix’s commitment to nurturing young minds and creating a safe haven for them is truly commendable.

I'm new to Felix Ventures but I've already found new friends and experiences. I'm planning to stay awhile for more. This is a good organization that will give you nothing but good. I'm taught survival skills and leadership skills. I would 100%recommend!

I can’t say enough good things about the Felix Ventures Foundation. This organization has provided our kids with experiences that would be unobtainable without their support. Thanks to Felix Ventures, the children have enjoyed beach trips, camping adventures, and stays at Felix’s house. They have also been exposed to different cultures and the arts through various plays and musicals.

What stands out the most is how the foundation encourages the kids to take responsibility and earn leadership roles. Felix himself takes the time to talk to each child individually, showing a genuine interest in their goals and ambitions. This personal touch makes a world of difference and truly inspires the kids.

Felix always emphasizes the importance of further education and goes as far as providing scholarships to support the kids’ educational pursuits. It is a great program for my kids, as a parent I went in almost every trip my girls went, and many more that I volunteered after they graduated. Because of Felix Ventures my kids went to college and got scholarships through the program.
Felix, Eric, Yury and the volunteers go out of their way to help students succeed, except the lazy, big mouth, trouble makers, and kids that try to brake the rules all the time.

Out of my 4 years at Workman Highschool, Felix Ventures program always encouraged all students to chase their dreams! Felix Ventures gave me the opportunity to get out of my comfort zone , experience camping 🏕️🥾 hiking, rock climbing, college tours, any opportunity to LEARN, get out there, and become a better version of yourself.

As a Hispanic kid growing in La Puente Felix Ventures Club guided me to a point in my life that thanks to them and the personal motivation of Felix Grossman I grew up to be a successful Sargent in the United States Air Force. I would always be in debt to all their instructions and advises they gave me growing up. They always made me felt like family.

A premier organization that offers opportunities for outdoor recreation and academic support. The mission of this nonprofit is to provide experiences that not many low income students would encounter unless they attended a more well off school. I was lucky to be part of this organization when I attended the highschool and it has helped mold me into an individual with a passion for the outdoors, sought for academic betterment and achieved multiple degrees, and now heavily involved in giving back to my community. Felix Ventures is an environment that encourages growth with leaders that inspire other leaders. Do not let some rumors distract you from this great program. Attend a meeting and see for yourself why this program is highly revered!
