The ladies in this office are the best. You don't need an appointment, just walk in and bother them.
Getting new car insurance? If you're in the system, they ask you a few questions then make sure you're not using your car to DoorDash or transport dead bodies, then you're finished and out of there.
I live in Colonial Heights, but use the Mount Carmel Farm Bureau because everyone there is just so darn helpful and nice.

My husband and I have been customers of farm bureau for eight years and have recommended friends, family, and coworkers to this agency we have NEVER had issues till this week but the issue was a pretty big mistake.
My husband and I got full coverage on his 2006 Highlander and the system showed that when we added it we added it as full coverage back in 2023. Fast forward a year and half and my husband backs into an illegally parked vehicle at our apartment complex at 6am on his way to work. He filled a police report and it was deemed no fault due to it happening on a private parking lot. We file a claim and when the agency calls us the woman from I assume corporate had major attitude and says it was my husband fault over and over and over again and kept disregarding the polices report even though I told her the police put down no fault and I told her I could send her a copy if she’d like for the claim. She then said we only had limited coverage on our Highlander and it wasn’t covered because it was “my husbands fault” for the millionth time out of her mouth and even if “it wasn’t his fault” we only had limited coverage but I explained to her that we added the vehicle as full coverage but she held her major attitude and kept repeating “no.”. I called our local branch here at Mount Carmel who has great customer service! I’ll give them that and they immediately investigated they said something went wrong. That the system showed we added full coverage but somehow it switched to limited (somehow) and we’ve only been paying for limited coverage (somehow) without our permission and knowledge. They wanted us to pay $350 for three months to get caught back up on full coverage and back date our coverage to 2024 and to cover our claim after they messed up. We decided to count our losses and just pay for the fixes out of pocket because it was cheaper to do that and were now in the process of switching to State Farm. I understand things happen but that’s a big mistake messing up someone’s coverage.
