Been here a month and counting. Clean and well maintained. Decent food. Good helpful staff. Hands down the nicest shelter in the county. Close to bus lines. Close to a store and restaurants if you have money.

I was so afraid of being in a shelter but it wasn’t long until I felt comfortable. I learned quickly that if you follow the rules and be respectful to staff and other residents everything you wouldn’t have any problems especially with the staff. You have to earn respect to get respect and a lot of people don’t do that so their experience wasn’t good. The case worker were great they give you all the resources to be able to help with getting you back on your feet. They aren’t there for people to sit on their butts and do nothing and expect the case worker should do all the work. I think Nancy’s Place is a great place to be if you’re homeless and thanks to the help they gave me I’m in my own apartment and I feel so blessed to have gone through this experience.

I am currently a resident and am very lucky to be in such a clean, well organized shelter which separates male and female so it's a more comfortable situation. Meals are diverse, filling, and taste pretty good. The rules are completely easy to follow, and the staff is nothing short of absolutely wonderful! If you find yourself homeless god forbid, please seek out these shelters, you won't regret it!

In one sentence this should tell you about the place, THEY WON’T HELP YOU IN ANYTHING, THEY ARE DISRESPECTABLE TO THE PEOPLE STAYING THERE. Here is the reason why…. If you go up to the staff to ask a question, you won’t get the answer but what you will get is someone yelling at you and telling you to leave or you will be force out. Has long has you don’t say anything to them you are fine, but that also means you won’t get the help you need. The best way for you to get the help is talk to the people who is staying there. In my opinion the owners should fire everyone that is working there and hire a new staff. Even the my person who is to “help” me in getting housing does nothing, I am disable and on SSDI and have been waiting for housing since Jan and all I get from him is I’m on the waiting list. I even went to his boss and ask for someone else and that didn’t happen. So have to ask why do I have to go and talk to him every 2 weeks when he got nothing to tell me? It’s better to do any of this yourself!
To add, If you say that the staff should not be disrespectful than you should do something about it from the the people about the desk to management.

The program and guidelines are great. There are many resources provided for everyone. You just have to be willing to except and act on your opportunities that are presented to you. Staff is awesome. Always a caring ear for all. Nancy's Place is a great stepping stone for self independence. A safe environment, Of course there are challenges daily but over all a great place to stay. Thank you for all you do.

Warehouse of addicts, lazy non-working men, who are check chasers and dirty individuals. The staff are underpaid babysitters who don't make much money unless they work 60 plus hours a week. Manny is great.

Medical center sucks. They are used to just the homeless people who in their eyes doesn’t have anyone who cares so they treat them however fortunately I am not homeless but I went there looking for a family physician gave it a few tries but the staff is so rude I just cannot! The doctors have a you’ll be all right attitude not a good place avoid if u can I know I will…. I wasn’t 45 minutes late I was actually 20 minutes late but I understand you have a need to save face no matter what your front desk staff should not be rude to anyone period especially when you are in the medical field and where you know people are sick. It befuddles me that the only response was to me being late not about your staff being rude that is the true complaint
