Nice day at the beach. If you are in the area plenty of picnic tables and no cost to enter. Life guards on duty after 11 am to 7 pm on select posted days.
Food stand on weekends but check if you are not packing a picnic. Kayak rental but check online for hours. Enjoy the boardwalk or sans the sandal’s and enjoy toes in the sand.

I love this park! The beach doesn't feel like you are on a lake, mostly giving the ocean vibes. My kid loves playing on the sand🤨 water is cool, and it feels great on a hot day. After enjoying the sun, we moved to the grass, we enjoyed the concertand the food trucks, tacos and the organic bread fruit were awesome! I don't remember the name of the bands, but every one of them were so good. Musicians are quality unbeatable. Free!

Our visit to Huntington Park Beach was delightful. We strolled along a beautiful deck path, taking in the expansive views of the open Lake Erie costline. Strolling the long, sandy (and windy) path, led us to a stunning lighthouse, which, despite its charm, could benefit from some extra love. The lake was choppy and dotted with boats, and the park buzzed with happy people cooking out and enjoying the day. We loved our experience and look forward to returning.

Beautiful lakefront park. It is inside of a breakwall so the waves don’t get too high. There is plenty of parking. In the off season, you can find driftwood, shells, beach glass, and interesting rocks along the shoreline. There is a nice playground right in the sand on the beach, and a giant Adirondack chair for photo ops.

Between Memorial Day and Labor Day, the park transforms into a lakeside oasis. There are lifeguards on duty during daytime hours, is kept clean and sifted of rocks and debris. Visit the rental shack to rent kayaks, standup paddle boards, etc. The bathrooms are always clean and well-stocked. The park charges for parking during summer months though, which I find to be a downside, as it is the only park in the area to charge. They do offer a decent amount of amenities though, so some don’t mind paying the fee.

You have to pay for parking. Nothing crazy. Kind of prefer it. Smaller beach. But super nice. And they have a concession stand. Bathrooms are kinda small and not well lit. You can rent kayaks which is cool. Beach is clean from what I could see. Will definitely go back. Plenty of places to sit.

Was middle of winter so a bit abandoned but looked a good place for family picnic in summer. Pleanty of parking. Water shallow so okay for kids. Some picnic shelters and play area. There we no food options when I went and didn't see a lot that would be open in summer. There is a nice icecream shop just up the hill in walking distance and a maritime museum

Fairport Harbor is beautiful during any season and is well kept. (Check it out when the ice is thick enough and read about its history). The only thing I never loved was the parking, which while abundant, can fill up and it's not all paved. I believe there is an expansion for this in the works for the future. That will help. I've been able to appreciate this beach in many ways over the years with and without my kids.
They have kayak rentals available, places to lay out and relax, and my son did Lake Metroparks youth boating lessons here (and they still do them here). There is concessions (I've not patronized but looks well visited) and bathrooms, rinse off station, and changing spots. It is not a big beach but I honestly prefer it. The view is beautiful with the lighthouse, break wall, jetskiers, boats, and ships.
