How these people hold themselves and treat others poorly is despicable; they are blocking and deleting citizens from their social media pages, limiting our access to public information about a public park and public facilities; this is all because of their lack of decorum and mistreatment of private property. What a shame to have people like this ruining a local park and it's reputation.
I would respectfully suggest answering for Corey's lack of decorum and actions against Mrs Romero and the 3+ weeks of surveillance of her private property instead of taking the time to delete every comment mentioning it on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. Hope to hear answers at the board meeting about this "pilot surveillance program" for 24/7 surveillance of the "park's facilities" in 3 days as well.

Why does Cory Vanderveen have a camera illegally pointed at someone's private property

Why are you illegally censoring citizens on your Facebook page See you on the 9th. As a taxpayer, I want answers and resignations. This is out of control. The lot of you need to go.

The pricing is outrageously high for their programs! It really seems like Evergreen Park and Rec is no longer about getting members of the community out exercising and building community, it's now just about soaking as much money as possible out of families who want to get their kids outdoors. It was $250 for my son to sign up for basketball for 6 weeks and his dad volunteered to coach! How does that make any sense? Also look at how overpriced ice skating on the lake is, last season it was close to $100 for our family to go ice skate on the lake for a couple hours last winter...the prices are just so excessively high...it is not great for the community.

Blocking and deleting anyone's 1st Amendment right is a clear violation to the US Constitution. Freedom of Speech & Freedom of Press. You need to be held accountable for your actions.

What happened to the wonderful summer lake concerts enjoyed by so many for years? The new rules are no outside alcohol and they have cordoned off entry and exits with orange construction netting in order to have teenage or young adult volunteers go through your backpacks and coolers to make sure of this. They will sell you a tiny plastic cup of wine for $7. The youngsters will check your ID and give you an wrist band. Oh andaccording to the website dogs are no longer allowed due to expected large "crows". And instead of the free raffles once enjoyed for swag bags highlighting our local businesses, they now continually pass around the bucket for you to give cash towards their deemed charity. All this during a time of massive price increases and budget tightening through every sector of our community
and currently in our nation. Feels like more gouging and control. . I realize the park is run by Denver but it does allow for 3.2 beer to be consumed within the park boundaries. . Due to these controlling new changes I will not be returning.

EPRD has provided so much for our children and community. I love everything they have provided. Their programs and staff are amazing and they are a huge part of our community!

It seems that there are multiple one-star reviews with similar language from non-community members (such as those from Texas, Louisiana) that are focused on the standoff between the landowner and the community at Kittredge park. I felt like I needed to point that out, since EPRD is so much more than a manager of one park next to a creek with contended access!

Terrible place with terrible people in charge. They have had plenty of time to realize their corrupt ways are what is ruining it yet they continue to do so! It will take YEARS to recover how they destroyed this place. That is if they ever decide to actually be good people.
