I went to this clinic for many years and always had great experiences until last week. It’s a long story but I think it’s important as it shows the offices lack of regard and concern for their patients.
I arrived for my 10am appointment 3 or 4 minutes late, and as I walked in to check in, I let an elder lady go in front of me (she said she just had to drop off her forms- which she then started asking questions so it took longer than just dropping off). There were 3 ladies at the front, so I waited for one of the other 2. They were talking to each other so I waited. Finally after another minute or so, the middle lady called me up. When I told her I was checking in she told me they might not be able to see me now due to their late policy, which is apparently 5 minutes. She said it was 10:06…. I looked at my phone in confusion and showed her my phone showing it was 10:05, so I should be fine. She ignored me and asked if I could come later, which I couldn’t as I had already drove 20 + minutes to get there and had to go back to work. She then tried to scheduled me for the following Monday. I was still in disbelief over the stupid 5 minute late policy, but was more frustrated because 1) it was 10:05 when I checked in and 2) If they hadn’t been talking to each other and ignored me when I came in, it wouldn’t have been an issue anyway! I had been sick for 2 weeks and was feeling horrible, so for them to deny me the appointment was infuriating. I left and said forget it. As I was driving home, I called and left a message for their office manager saying what happened and requesting a phone call and even messaged my doctor through the portal but never heard back. Unfortunately now I have to find a new doctor for me and my family, which sucks cause I did like the office and doctor. But I won’t go back. I gave them an opportunity to make it right and they didn’t. That tells me what I need to know.
