I signed up with EOS before it opened in Ladera not knowing what the gym would look like. I go there regularly, primarily to the Group Fitness classes. Each instructor is outstanding and most of the time the gym is clean. I am greeted by happy staff at the front desk and when I leave the gym they also say goodbye and have a nice day. Great value for my $$ and super instructors and staff. I also have the towel service which I am so thankful for.

Friendly staff. The sauna is great and not too cool like other gyms, it is always about 185 or so, as recommended by my doc! Great selection of machines and free weights, helpful, friendly staff, jacuzzi is not over-chlorinated as the ones at other gyms. I only wish they had a steam room and a cold plunge!

Eos is an Awesome place to work out. Always lots of energy and make it fun to push yourself past your limits. They take good care of the machines and rarely do you see ones out and when they are it’s for short periods of time. Bathrooms are clean and staff are always helpful.

Signed up before gym opened at this location for $9.99 with an annual fee of $49.99. They sold it as a lifetime deal. Instead increased it to $14.99. (I’m sure there are hundreds of folks with similar experience) When inquired, they make it conveniently clearer than ever that they reserve the right to increase it when they want to. If people knew this during sign-up, nobody would join right?

Meanwhile at EOS corporate behind closed doors: Truth is we don’t care if the 9.99 low fee folks cancel their membership. The volume of new members we can sell plus we have higher packages, personal trainer packages, and add-ons, etc. offsets this loss and then some. Plus our gym is more crowded than ever now thanks to our awesome marketing and sales team so if we lose the low fees folks, we are still winning. We will always get new people to join while others will cancel. The goal is to increase membership and retain or slow down the cancellation rates. This will maximize our revenue and profits.

Hard for you to cancel your membership but easy for you to join? Still being charged after cancellation? Get my drift? It’s a business and you are, my friend, just another patron.

Been going here for a year and generally like this gym. But I had an absolutely awful experience with the personal training program. Spent a couple thousand dollars just for my trainers to constantly cancel and reschedule. Never even got to finish all the sessions I paid for. I continue to use the gym for the equipment. Asked to speak to the personal trainer manager today and was left at the front for an hour and a half, no one ever came to see me or even talk to me. And they had the nerve to charge me a 25 dollar "service fee" when my mother payment failed. Meanwhile they have tons of my money

Excellent teachers and a great variety of classes. The equipment is second to none and it's always clean. EOS even provides cleaning supplies. The bathrooms and the facilities are always clean as well. They even have filtered water. And the spin classes are excellent and you can even watch movies if you want to spend alone. It's just a great gym and the price is right.

I like the gym. Overall, EoS seems to have a lot offer. But when I did my assessment with the manager (Vishal?), I found him to be extremely arrogant and rude. After declining his offer to hire a private trainer (because I couldn't afford one), he said, "Well good luck keeping up with what you've been doing and getting no where."
He had previously asked about my diet and exercise as part of the assessment , knowing I had been trying for some time to loose weight and just recently adding on weight lifting at the gym. But apparently, the only way to succeed in his eyes if by hiring a trainer. Regardless, that's no way to talk to a client. And frankly, pretty gross. Enjoy the great gym, but be sure to steer clear of him.

Treadmills are too close together, my feeling is there should be some space between them , at least a foot . Though there is a lot of equipment much just seems packed in. Im not use to having so many people in the gym , I like it in a way but not sure it’s for me yet. We will see.
