My daughter and I were checking out the facilities.the swimming pool is 84 degrees and inside 4 lanes to swim in. They have some joining specials, one is orange for $49. A month for the two of us. That's like going out to eat at the cheaper establishments.

I used to really love this gym, I still go to this gym, but honestly the current state of the gym is making me consider leaving. I pay over $400 a year to go here, just like many other members, and some even pay more per month than I do, yet they can’t fix their equipment.

There are 12 treadmills on the bottom floor in the cardio area, 6 of them don’t work. Either they don’t turn on at all, or they’re stuck in an elevated position and will not return to baseline. There are also 3 treadmills upstairs I believe, but 2 of them don’t work. Two of the treadmills downstairs have had notices on them saying they don’t work since January.

There are also ellipticals that do not turn on, and some won’t allow you to change the resistance, elevation, or “workout” pre-programmed on the machine.

In the weight training area there are cable machines that get stuck when you’re mid rep, and you’ll have to restart the rep before you can pull the cable any further.

The men’s locker room grows black mold on the ceiling. The ceiling of the women’s locker room has multiple areas where the paint is coming down from the ceiling from water leaking in from the rain last winter. This still hasn’t been fixed from LAST winter.

I know this is a long review but honestly you’re just not getting what you pay for with all the non-operative, and malfunctioning equipment. One could also argue that the mold in the men’s locker room and the mold in the ceiling from the women’s locker room is harmful to your health.

Consider this before you sign up, it’s been a year or more for many of these issues.

Please start repairing your gym so your members that pay to come to your gym can comfortably and safely workout here.

*UPDATE 12/15/23 - The lower weight training area now has a large brand new cable rack. Thank you thank you thank you Energy. However keep in mind, there are even more treadmills now that have notices on them saying they don’t work. Fingers crossed maybe we’ll get new treadmills soon! 🤞🏼🤞🏼

The ceilings in the locker rooms are even worse after the past few rains. There were buckets placed in the women’s locker room/bathroom area to collect dripping water from the areas in the ceiling mentioned above. Worst part is they’re right over two of the stalls, almost guaranteed you’ll get dripping water on you.

The hours work great for my schedule.

They do need to do some upgrading, however.
Many of the cardio machines have had “needs repair” signs on them for months, maybe even a year. But they have been upgrading a lot of the weight machines and structures.

Soap machines and sinks are hard to work. Often soap doesn't come out or very little does after trying several times.

All in all, the location is great for me and I'm a regular client and go almost daily.

TOO HOT! The thermostat said 81 inside and the controller is in a lock box. The display showed the setting was off instead of cool. Staff on site are not allowed to touch it.

Overall there are good things about this gym. Unfortunately I joined this gym primarily just for the steam room. The steamroom breaks and remains broken for 1-2 months a minimum of three times every year.
Now when the steam room breaks I shop for a one month membership at a gym that doesn't leave their facilities and equipment broken for months at a time.

This place is great. Except if you want to enjoy the steam room or sauna you can’t. Other gym goers douse the rooms with tea tree oil/Vicks/etc to the point it burns your eyes. I’ve asked the men to stop doing it since they’ve come in & done it while I was sitting in their numerous times, I’ve brought it up to the front desk, I know other gym goers have brought it up. I’ve tried different times of the day, different times of the week & it never ends. The management doesn’t seem to care since it’s everyday; they claim “they’ll take care of it”. Completely ruins the entire gym having that burning your eyes & nose. I’d HIGHLY suggest choosing another gym for that reason alone. Since it’s a shared space you’d think people would be more respectful or management would care, shame.

I've been a member here for a year. The gym is super clean and the staff is really friendly! They offer a full gym outside and inside to fit any covid concerns. It offers a pool, jacuzzi, wet/ dry sauna. I've never seen anything broken or not maintained and the clients are super friendly. The membership is very reasonable. This gym has everything you could need. Really nice welcoming facility.
