My husband and I attended this church today. The pastor is one of the best preachers I've ever heard preach the gospel. I felt not only blessed but we were so welcomed. I do believe this will be our new church home.

Absolutely tough preaching, so if you don't like the truth no need to go there. People praise the preacher when he's tough on biblical issues but can't stand him when those very issues affect them. Dr Kids is one to scuff you up and show you biblically how to be a better Christian. Don't get mad at the messenger, settle your issues with God. I'm telling you this in love, he (Dr Kids) publicly divorced from public opinion. He a straight shooter hands down. He makes statements most preachers are afraid to even mumble.... In closing, getting to know him personally, he's a wonderful man of God, hands down. (Preach on Brother Kidd.)

One of the most awesome churches I've ever visited! Dr. Phil Kidd and his wife Dr. Leslie Kidd made me feel so welcome! As soon as I walked in the door Mrs. Leslie came right up to me and said I don't believe we have met and she introsuced herself to me and my son. The service was wonderful from the singing to Dr. Phil Kidd's signature preaching style. They treat everyone with the same respect and dignity whether you have the most money in Kingsport or none at all they do not care everyone is the same to them as it should be everywhere but sadly it isn't. But it sure is at Emmaus Of Kingsport! They truly love people and I heard him preach recently and said he's not a preacher's preacher he's a people's preacher that is exactly 100% truth! He isn't afraid to tell the truth and he does too! No matter the subject matter if it's wrong in the sight of God he is going to preach aganist it. Some things other preachers would never preach on Dr. Kidd tackles it head on. He preaches in such an energetic way without compromising the old fashioned preaching values that have been passed down from generation to generation. He only preaches from the KJV Bible and I believe that is how it should be! So if you happen to see this Dr. Phil Kidd and Dr. Leslie Kidd thank you for making us feel so welcome our first time and we look forward to coming back again when our home church isn't having service. Also, first time visitors get to go to a conference room and meet with Dr. Kidd I asked him to sign my bible and he did. They also give you a gift on your first visit! They are the best people and I'm grateful for them! I'm also grateful to get to hear the service every week on social media! God Bless You Both Very Much & Everyone At Emmaus Of Kingsport!

This was a life changer this pastor preaches how it she be and he aint afraid to hurt anyones feelings. If you get hurt feelings from it then you probably have some conviction i watch his sermons every sunday.. along with his other videos he post just a great church and people.... definitely would recommend to go if your looking for a sunday church go here

Went here as a child, the experiences I’ve had here were traumatizing, from kicking out family due to personal issues, preaching about the pastors life instead of gods word, doing a sermon a CHILD who took her life and blamed it ON THE MUSIC SHE WAS LISTENING TOO and much more. Please stray away from this place and please don’t raise your child in this environment.
