I attended as a child and into my pre teen years. Looking back now, I see that some behaviors by the main people of the congregation were quiet toxic. In such a way that I'm not sure if this was a church or a social club masquerading as a church. Basically if the community consider you and your family undesirable, then the church will as well in a passive aggressive way. My last Christmas at this church, I refused to participate in the Christmas program. I had always hated doing it.This created a stir in its own way and the lady who organized it tried to pressure me to do it. Very toxic. I recommeneded that a friend of mine that I took to church take my part. He came from a family considered "undesirable" in the community. She refused and would not let him in the program. She gave my part to a popular kid making him have multiple roles. So unfair and very unchrist like. Shameful!
