Appreciate this place to the fullest!! Blessings on how they definitely care about the Community!!
Hate the Fact that you can only apply for Financial Assistance on Tuesdays from 10 Am - 12 Noon by phone & there is ONLY 1 PERSON (ONE) ANSWERING THE PHONE & WHEN YOU CALL IT IS A BUSY SIGNAL - OVER & OVER. When you CONSTANTLY CALL BACK & THEN FINALLY THE PHONE RINGS (You are so EXCITED!!), then it's a recording telling you what you need to get quality for the financial assistance (so in your head - you are like YES!! I got through - the 1 person should pick up the phone & take your info) BUT NOOOOOOOO...The recording then says all the appointments/spots have been taken!!! How? How many SPOTS are there? It must be only 1!! Maybe 2? Heck, I don't know. But there has to be a better way!!!!!

They are wonderful ❤️. They try but if your diet is too specialized from allergies, they don't quite serve all your needs and some people end up exchanging in the parking lot. We all know how important food is so nothing goes to waste; it just goes home with a family who can eat it. They are really organized. It would be super if they could do an online demonstration of how to combine and prepare the food they give away each week. Some parents are new to this and used to buy according to what they wrte going to fit. Now, parents have to fix according to what they are given and are having a difficult time reversing their procedure. Some of us out here need that extra help and telling or writing down recipes in the parking lot takes up parking spaces for those coming in for their food. But, I have to give them thanks for what they do❣️

I have called this place a month straight to get help with rent and every Tuesday the phone is off the hook. As a person who works as a contractor with the government I have seen many cases where Non-Profit Organizations have been misappropriating funds and have been shut down for this. I have made many donations over the years to different charities to help the community and hearing that this organization is not owning up to their promises saddens me. I will not recommend this place to anyone and bring this up to the appropriate organizations for an investigation. Hopefully this will change their hearts. If not, God will.

I went to the pantry last week, it had one person in line. They had let everyone else in. I went to my car to get my phone and left my keys and on the sidewalk, I was gone maybe a minute. When I get back the lady told me they told her not to let no one else in. I told her Ok that’s fine. She gave me a number, I was the first one to go in next. It had a lady to come up while she were still out there, she was so rude to her, telling her come on and get her number so she can close the door. She finally let us in, what she did the number she gave me was a larger number, people that came behind me had a smaller number than mind. That mean she put 4 or 5 people before me. Why are you volunteering with that kind of attitude. It’s all about control with her. She never know what people are going through when they come there.

After coming here off & on for nearly a year. Can clearly confirm to everyone this place is a "Racist religious service" that Scams" the unfortunate." Placing this review really at a status under a ZERO!
After changes in their community food policy & other resource services. Chances, Continued to happen without notifying people properly from the surroundings, Including informing me & my relative.
Around this same time, Family-members had passed & I was under the weather. A celebration was going on to for my toddler that was turning three. Calling the Food bank for food & gifts for kids, Eventually getting the managers voicemail. Mandi, the manager okayed for a pickup for a present in returned voicemail.
My relative that was on my paperwork for pantry pick ups, other resources & presents for our residency showed up there. Mandi now was "No" saying to the pick up for a present rudely for my three year old. This was so unacceptable, unprofessional &
unsympathetic.
A different time, My relative was in need of pantry food for us. Mandi was there & Nonchalantly said "no" referencing to the working volunteers, Not to service us. Mandi phoned the police when My relative said we'll report the situation to their Superiors. Staff & volunteers aren't really a "Religious/support system."

My first time ever coming here. I brought my daughter and 2 grandsons to receive assistance because she's going through a separation. The front office clerk on 4/7/17 was extremely rude to us. Talking to us like we did something wrong. I couldn't believe her attitude towards us and it made me very uncomfortable. At first I thought maybe she's acting this way because we are black. But then a Caucasian man walks in for assistance and she has the same attitude towards him. So I gathered that she is just rude period. The wrong person to have at the window. She has ruined this visit for us. I hope and pray that we never need these services again. Her attitude should not be tolerated in a place where people need you to be kind. She's not a people person and customer service is not for her. The other staff members made it better. Thanks for having other ppl here that does care.

This place doesn't deserve a star. And I am a person that does not complain. I have been calling the financial assistance line for the past 2 years and no answer. It seems like right before 10am on Tuesdsy they remove the phone off the hook. I am curious to know who are they excepting calls form and who are they assisting with funds?. I usually start calling at 9:50am non stop till 1pm. All I get is a busy signal. One day I decided to walkin and the receptionist was very rude. She told me. that they can only help me over the phone. These reviews must be fake.
