They didn't have any clothing for men. I feel they should have said that on the phone. I took the train and had to walk 20 minutes to the office. It was a waste of my time.

When I first received a call from Dress For Success, I was so excited. I had heard about this place for years, but never thought to explore it. I became discouraged about where my life was headed and how far I had to climb. This place offers free classes to earn Certificates in various fields of study. The company knew exactly how to make you feel comfortable with such a warm welcome. It may be in a new location, and the office is very well designed , organized and professional. I really appreciate the encouragement , support , and energy the staff provided. I felt so blessed to have this at such a great time of need and surly after such a great fall in my life. The specialized taylor and expert who made sure you felt good in every aspect of the suiting experience was by far gifted in her expertise. I was shedding tears of joy by the time she was done with me. Her hair was the color of the finest silver, and she spoke in such an elegant tone. This business definitely has and continues to fulfill its purpose and needs in the metro Atlanta area! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Great Job Ladies!

Had a boatload of Nice ladies clothes to drop off that was professional dress attire and semi formal/ formal dresses and dress suits that had only been worn once or twice at the most with some still having the new tags, but they said they ONLY Accept newer items that are sized 14 and Up. Guess they don't help skinny women.
I can say that St. Vincent has a lot of Nice stuff at their Kennesaw location now.

Altruism: Altruism is characterized by selflessness and concern for the well-being of others. Most people who go out of their way to donate whether it be their time, money or clothes and goods, do this because it gives them a sense of helping and it usually feels good.

However, if you want the benefit of altruism DO NOT go to this nonprofit and expect that you will leave feeling like you did a good thing. The mission of this organization is amazing, which is why there should be amazing people volunteering or working there.

I made a substantial clothing donation; I did not feel welcome when I walked in and I felt less appreciated when I left. People working for this or any other charitable organization should at least appear to want to be there and that they appreciate what is given. Without the thoughtfulness and generosity of many this organization could not do what it does. No one should feel bad about helping, but you might feel less likely to continue supporting this organization; or refer others when you leave. I left at least expecting one of the three or four women there to say Thank you….Not even.

Only cart your fine clothes there if they are NOT 'Dry Clean' and appeal to ONLY ages 17-25. Otherwise you will need to cart them all back home since they WON'T BE ACCEPTED.

I'm very disappointed and the reason is the following.
After going to the Official Dress for Success web site for Atlanta and the
site information indicated that the donation center was open from 9 am to 3 pm today. (Monday - Friday, 9 am to 3 pm at Dress for Success Atlanta ) I drove 58 miles to make a substantial donation. I have changed jobs and don't wear my suits or dresses anymore for work . I wanted to be able to help others that may be in need of these items. I also have professional shoes, belts and purses.

I am only off on Sunday and Monday so I guess I won't be making any donations at this time. What a shame, the suits are all Jones of New York, Calvin, Ann Klein..:-(
