I called his office for assistance in the Global Entry application process. I was told he could help. I dropped off a release form n waited patiently for a response. Two weeks later no response by phone or email. Come on, contact people n tell them no I can't help or yes, I can but not right now. It's not hard to respond. I am so disappointed that I've supported him with my votes. His staff, if he has any, does not represent him well.

Rep. Ami Bera is not accessible to his constituents, although I imagine he’d be willing to meet with donors like AIPAC and Goldman Sachs at a drop of a hat. I left a voicemail with his Sacramento office to introduce myself as one of his constituents. I told them I had a lot to talk about, but there was no indication that they had received my call. When I became aware that my representative essentially supported the genocide in Gaza by cowardly advocating for a “humanitarian pause” (which we can all assume he didn’t think of himself), I stood outside his office with a bullhorn on two different occasions to denounce him and the federal government in general for not demanding a humanitarian ceasefire. Also, the Biden administration has sent weapons to Israel so they can continue to slaughter Palestinians, including thousands of children. This is clearly unacceptable! Did my representative and/or his staffers get my message? No. I was told by someone who works down the hall from them that no one is ever in the office. She told me she’s seen people in the hallway crying because there’s no one to talk to about issues that are obviously very personal for them. There’s nothing posted on the door to explain why there’s no one in the office during their regular business hours. In the meantime, I’ve seen a plethora of constituents insisting that Rep. Bera call for a ceasefire every time he posts something on Instagram. He has taken over $33,000 from AIPAC (the American-Israeli lobby) during the most recent election cycle, so clearly he has no interest in what his constituents have to say on this issue. I will keep returning with my bullhorn to speak out against this dereliction of duty and apparent disregard for humanity. As Rep. Ami Bera himself says on his website, “Democracy works best when everyone’s voice is heard.”

Tried to get information from the district office about Global Entry requirements- called for 3 weeks, left messages, never got a live person, never got a call back. Finally I called the Washington DC office and on the 2nd try I got a real person - someone who identified himself as a student intern. A couple of days later he emailed me a form to fill out about my issue and questions with a requirement that I had my SS#. My entire SS# not just the last four digits and fax or mail back. Absolutely not! This is the most incompetent response I’ve ever received from any legislator. Do better Congressman Bera.

I wrote to him over my concern about the International Health Amendments which would hand over our sovereignty to the W.H.O. in the event of a health emergency. This means they could mandate to all USA citizens any medical treatment that they see fit. He said he is all for these amendments. Come to find out Big Pharma pays for his campaigning. I will not vote for him or any other corrupt democrat.

I sent him an email voicing my concerns about forcing the experimental covid vaccines as mandates for citizens and children. his canned response led me to believe he was working as a paid rep for phizer. after looking into his campaign contributors I was not surprised to see one of his largest donors was Pharma. he is just another corrupt politician in the pocket of corporate america. I will never vote for him.

Sent email with no response. I do realize that Ami Bera does not read the emails unless given to him by his staff which is useless if you are addressing a controversial subject. He blindly votes along party lines to include the unjust Impeachment Inquiry which denied due process given to everyone in the country. Which means that he cares more about politics than fairness. Very sad but it goes along with the California mentality these days.
