The Hope Center Bakery did a fabulous job creating, baking and decorating a cake for my daughter's baby shower. They were able to match our vision beautifully.

The Hope Center is a fantastic group of people that are committed to their mission helping the homeless community and housing 70 women. Daily they serve home made soup, sandwiches and snack for the general public from 12-1:30 even providing seconds at 1:20 if there is anything left over. They have a shower house, food truck, and a culinary/bakery program. I have been volunteering with the Hope Center for the past 1 1/2 years and am honored to be able to contribute to this program.

I think it's a wonderful place, they serve the women their ❤️ beautifIul dinners. They should, however send management too charm school. They advertise HOPE, showers and laundry and meals and shelter ...what they don't tell you is you may only use those amenities if you live in the shelter. Well Im in my truck it's winter in Alaska outside right now too just because I can't live in the shelter shouldn't mean that I can't take a shower .... But she did however to serve a plate of food to me outside. I think that is backwards and to be so cruel about it. Like they should put that as a requirement on the websites

I have been in many shelters before coming here , and I can honestly say this is the best one I ever been in. The staff are very Friendly and caring , they do not drag you down or make your life harder then it needs to be . I have experienceed neglect and theft and horrific staffs who treated me like trash and even neglected me more when I almost committed suicide. This was in seattle shelters. This is the first ever shelter I felt safe from staffs and seen them treat people like people regardless of mental health or status . And the soup is great, the dinner should be its own 5 star restaurant. The best dinner I ever had every single night at a shelter. Cooks are amazing. I also feel safe and normal because they allow only women. This type of shelter needs to be everywhere. I can't express enough how important it is to have wonderful staffs . They really can alter the course of someone's future having care . They really can alter the course of someone's health and future . If there was more shelters like this in Seattle, I would never have to deal with the trauma and mental insecurity and anger and even hate and distrust I still have today .

Night shower staff was being really rude to me for no reason when other staff told me to go ask night shower staff if I can shower 2 days in a row since how there won’t be any showers every other day on Christmas. Now I am told to speak with another lady that is her boss not the staff I told about night staff being really rude to me for no reason about showering. How is this transforming lives when we’re taring each other down? I am doing the best I can but getting rejected for it while others get to be successful than me when I been doing just as good as they were. There is also a lot of rule breaking on bullying and intimidation on me and getting away with it. Staff just lets it happen. There is a lot to get away with here on me. Staff is always busy helping other people or making it really hard for me to get a hold on staff every time I need or want them. Staff talk back to the homeless. Always strict on me when no needed to be strict on me. Staff plays favorites.

They told my man's sister she couldn't go back for 6 weeks due to getting a cold( which I understand) so we let her stay with us but when the 6 weeks were up they said she couldn't go back ever again. Very misleading and unfair they are treating her wrongly due to her disability.
