Nice hike up to the cemetery and grave site, good short workout. Place is pretty well-kept, only disappointment was that it’s stated that although Holliday is buried here, they don’t know exactly where. Still a great pit stop going across 70 to stretch your legs and get some mountain fresh air.

If you are a Doc & tombstone fan highly recommend this hike. Trail isn't to crazy either, our 4 year old hiked with us with no issues. Trail is at an Incline with huge drop offs but so worth it!!! The cemetery is so full of history & peace very cool! ** recommend coming early as parking is very limited.

Great hike! 1/2 mile to the cemetery, then you can keep hiking. Uphill, sandy and stony path, so be ready to stop and catch your breath, especially if you're not used to hiking at altitude! Between the 3 of us, we saw bluejays, deer, chipmunks, and black bear poop!

Loved hiking to the cemetery and exploring that area!
Great place to photograph and learn more about Doc. My only disappointment was that whoever tends to the park has parked a trash can in front of the flag pole opposite the grave site. For one thing, it's disrespectful to have trash at the foot of our American flag. It is hard to photograph the grave with the trash can in the background.

Very neat place. Lots of graves of other people who have passed. This isn’t the actual gravesite of Doc. It’s a memorial. He is buried on the hill “somewhere” The hike is a little aggressive if you aren’t a hiker. Only one place to sit and rest.

Trail is easy my 3 year old went up no problem, 15-20 mins hike. Just be careful going up, especially when hiking during winter, as trail can be icy and muddy.

It's a terrible walk up a gully wash And I do mean up. It is steep, climb and loose rocks under you. We are not accustomed to hiking, so it took about half an hour to reach the grave site from the road. I am glad I went though! Something else off my bucket list!

.5 mile steady incline but not challenging. There are no rails on the trail, so hold on to your kiddos! Beautiful view of Glenwood Springs!
