I won't bash on this place instead I'll try to give constructive feedback. First 3 meals a day no snacks allowed in the building unless you order food on the weekend, (even in prison you get commissary once a week). Second your family is only allowed to visit 1 hour per week for people that are not from el paso this is crazy. Third I struggled to find work for like 3 months and the center is suppose to assist with helping inmates find jobs but I never experienced that help. Fourth is the groups that your mandatory to attend our joke they absolutely offer no real life help or knowledge in regards to the real world. Fifth is the center does not provide any kind of help with jobs schooling relocation or anything for that matter that they claim on the bop website. And lastly I want to say that there are some staff that are alright when it comes to how they treat the inmates but there is always a few pos no matter where you are or what your doing all in all this place makes my transition from prison back to home so much harder than it should be there are many rules and stipulations that make absolutely no sense there is very minimal a lot of time to spend with your family I mean imprison you get more visitation with your family and also this is my opinion and this is you know as of April 2nd 2025 because I'm currently still an inmate at this halfway house hopefully I will not receive reprimanded for this review but there are good things and then there are bad things it's up to the individual to make the best out of their situation and that's all I'm trying to do I do wish that the center provided more help in certain areas like I had mentioned earlier and also I wish there was more time to be able to spend with family and it won't let me give it a 0 star review so it's a forced 1

This is a great place and opportunity to those who appreciate the transition process the BOP offers, instead of being locked up wasting your time. All the people that complain are the trash people that are going to come back again and again. Trash people that don't like to be told rules or to follow them. Don't like to be law abiding citizens. I know it, I'm at halfway house right now!

IF You have the Option to REFUSE this Halfway Hellhouse and stay in Prison while you kill your number, I highly recommend that you do that!
This place is Designed for FAILURE!
NOTHING about this place is Halfway Home, everything about this place is Halfway back to Prison!

Everyone complaint about this place because of the rules, but if you follow them and do what you need to do between the rules you will not get in trouble. Is a federal halfway house as a transition house from prison to freedom is the best place to be, been there two times and this time I got it with no problem at all.

The staff is absolutely disrespectful and inconsiderate to the inmates. My husband was locked in a room and was denied water and food. I called to ask why couldn’t they serve him food during the hours they only allow the inmates to eat and the woman on the phone just hung up on me. I called back no answer. Absolutely inhuman to those inside who are really trying.

To start with they never get phone messages to the individual. Everything seems to be rigged against the inmates success. I want to find out who is in charge of this place. I'm going to do some research.
