I have been a resident here for 2 1/2 years. I moved in here with my handicapped daughter and her husband who have an apartment right across from mine. It is a great place to live! The staff is excellent, the food is good, and the activities program is vibrant. I have recommended Discovery Village to a number of friends and will continue to do so.

This is the first apartment I have lived in. The day I entered the facility, I felt immediately welcomed just sitting and waiting in the lobby. I was completely alone and had not yet met anyone who worked here. After I met the amazingly friendly, welcoming person who toured me through the building and explained all the benefits of living here, I was more than ready to move right in. I have lived here now for close to two years.

The very important, meaningful and uplifting thing about Discovery Village is the commitment to form and support an ongoing residential community of all the residents who live in the building. Many activities onsite and away from the location are provided each month and transportation is also provided for all who are interested in attending but cannot transport themselves.

The staff here are all so friendly and interactive that in many instances it is not very easy to know right away if they are another resident or a someone who is at work.

If anyone asks me where I live, I never say, "I rent an apartment in that building." I simply point at the beautiful 4-story building and say, "That is where I live," or " I live there." I intend to happily live here for many, many years to come.

My mom and mother-in-law both live in the independent living. The apartments are very nice and the staff friendly. Since moving in many things have seriously declined in quality. First of all, the food was delicious but now it's terrible most of the time. During storms with power outages, the families were told generators were ordered and would be installed. To date there are no generators. Also promised was automatic doors at entrance. To date they aren't installed. The staff still remain very nice and friendly and apartments nice but many things need serious improvement.

We have been residents for one year in Independent Living and have enjoyed every day. The staff are always helpful, courteous and friendly.
The housekeeping staff do an excellent job keeping our facility clean and neat. Kitchen staff keeps us well fed and makes sure we get what we want. Our thanks to all!!

We have lived here only a few months. We have found the people very friendly. It is like living in a very nice community. It has so many varied activities. The best part we have input into the menu, activities and our concerns. We investigated all the communities near us and this was far the best. I recommend this place to anyone.

Hi Everyone! I had the best time today inside Memory Care. I volenteer once a month to do a spa day. I am always welcomed with warm smiles. I actually know some of the employees here as well. Vikki Clyburn does an amazing job with her residents and staff. She truly cares! And it shows! I have worked with her before and I can honestly say she goes beyond her job title in many ways. This is what makes her Shine! Joey , the young lady at the front desk is so sweet and is happy to see me. Brianna is always amazing with the residents! She always has a smile on her face . I can see the residents enjoy her. It is not easy what these ladies do, however they do it all exceptionally well! Last but not least, Welcome Shauna! She is doing amazing things on the marketing side. She always has a smile and helps out when needed. People seem to be happy here. Life is short, mine as well enjoy your journey! 💓Last...but not least... Michelle in memory care is also very kind and genuinely cares about the residents and has an amazing 😊 smile.

Although living here less than 2 years it definitely feels like home. Great activities, lots of fun, and movies several times weekly! We have friendly staff, neighbors, and the food is good too!

I like living at Discovery Village Clear Lake, my daughter lives close and I get to see her often. Very happy with my room. We have enough staff in the Dining room,what I would like to see in the Dining room is 1 wait staff in the eating area at all times.
