I have lived in Independent Living in Discovery Village 2 for over eight years and have been very happy here! The residents on the first floor are more like a family than “just neighbors.” One of the reasons I chose this option is because of the availability of assisted living on the second floor, more specialized care on the third floor and skilled nursing/rehabilitation on the fourth floor in case I should need any of those services in the future. The staff is very caring, attentive and personable as well. I’ve never been sorry I chose to live here!

My mom has lived in the memory care home at Discovery Village at Southlake for 8 months, and I could not be happier and more impressed with the care provided. My father resides in the same building but on the assisted-living side. When I tell you, this is the most phenomenal place you could ever place your parents, I mean it. These people have become my extended family, and are so flexible with requests. Lulu provided excellent insight when admitting my mother. And has been nothing shy of amazing for the last eight months. He does everything to accommodate my father‘s request to see my mother for breakfast lunch and dinner. The memory care unit has my mom ready for my dad to pick up every day for all of her meals. And even when she could no longer come out for most meals, they encouraged him to come visit her every single meal in the memory care unit . Miki, Alphie, Rose, Ruth and so many more provide daily care for my parents as well as me…the kiddo. Tamika and Dinesh help her get ready for all of the happy hour activities with my dad. They are checking on her constantly. Anytime I make adjustments to her medications, they call. They let me know how she is doing with her sleeping and her overall health. I visit daily, so I know how this operation truly works. These people are nothing shy of amazing when caring for your parents. I have built a bond with all and they share in the journey loving my parents like their own. They are so caring, loving and very special people. They hold my mom, they hug her regularly, they assist her in eating and make sure she has direction with every day activities. They even helped me plan a birthday party for my mom this past Friday and it was a huge hit by allI!!

I cannot say enough great things about Discovery Village in Southlake. My mom has been in their skilled nursing rehabilitation for the past 20 days, and the care she has received has been exceptional.

The staff and medical professionals are wonderful —many of them have been with the facility for over 10 years, which speaks volumes about their commitment and stability. The leadership team also has long tenure, which creates a well-coordinated and consistent experience. Every staff member we have interacted with has been incredibly friendly, professional, and compassionate.

The physical therapy and occupational therapy programs have made a significant difference in my mom’s recovery. The therapists are knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely invested in helping her regain strength and independence. Their support has been instrumental in her progress, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the results.

What truly sets Discovery Village apart is their communication. In any healthcare setting, issues may occasionally arise, but this team handles them with transparency and efficiency. They promptly address concerns and ensure that all questions are answered, which provides great peace of mind.

Based on our experience, I would not hesitate to recommend Discovery Village for skilled nursing care. When the time comes for my mom to transition to permanent assisted living, this will be my first choice. Whether you are looking for skilled nursing, independent or assisted living, or memory care, I highly recommend Discovery Village. They genuinely care for their residents and their families.

Discovery Village is definitely one of the best nursing facilities in the area if not the best. Their staff is very professional and caring and they do a great job at taking care of their patients. I have partnered with them for many years and they are one of the only nursing homes that continues to provide steady and compassionate care for not only their patients and families, but their staff as well. We are so thrilled with the facilities and staff at Discovery Villages. They are kind, helpful, and seem to always be encouraging and in great spirits. Toured this place today with my Mother, who has some specific needs for her apartment. First, the facility is very nice and the residents and staff that we met were very friendly. The staff was very knowledgeable of her condition and helped us pick the best apartment. Very happy that we found this place and feel very comfortable making this my Moms home. The smile on my Moms face said it all.

When walking through the door of Discovery Village Skilled Nursing you are met with a homie feel, not a sterile hospital environment. Having everything needed for rehab on one floor is a big plus. The kitchen never disappoints. The staff is always willing to help. These are just some of the things that sets Discovery Village apart from others.

My Mother has lived at Discovery Village Southlake in Assisted Living for many years. The care is excellent, the facility is beautiful and I can't say enough good things about the entire staff. There are many activities provided daily, delicious meals, cleaning and laundry services and any possible need is met with a smile. Knowing my Mother is well cared for allows me to manage my other responsibilities while knowing that she is in good hands!
