It's a great little park! Lots of childhood memories were made here. Be careful about dipping your toes in the water!

The creek was very low and dirty (lots of trash). There were warnings of Poison Hemlock near the trail, which made it hard to walk through the trails. Playground is very small - there is an old metal merry-go-round my kids enjoyed playing on, a few swings, and a small set of bars. Based on the other reviews we were expecting something a bit more clean and nice to walk through. My kids were disappointed in the lack of play equipment.

Nice little park, well maintained by Monument. Great big trees for shade in the summer and decent bathrooms that are not portable potty. It also has volleyball, basketball areas and horseshoe pits. There is a lot of open space by the grillls and picnic tables.

I met somebody there and since there were two parking lots with no signage we weren’t aware that we were each in separate parking lots. The one with the flash toilet is adequate, but it’s not a very nice park.

This is one of the nicest City Parks I've been to in a while. Very well maintained and clean. The restroom was amazingly well kept. I would have given it a 5 star rating but while walking through the area where the creek separated the two sections of the park there were signs posted for the "Poison Hemlock" just a little bit disturbing.
