What a blessing this facility has been. The resources available were made clear and I had a great team of people who came to help me move forward. Such a blessing and I am very thankful. Special thanks to Mr. Chuck and Ms. Autumn 🍂. If you are in need these people of God are here for you. Note: Don't Give these people a hard team. They are here for You! Be kind be respectful....but above all Stay Focused. What a blessing🥰🌄🥰

Got bedbugs from this place after they told us they regularly wipe down the mats and clean the linens, so we wouldnt have to worry about the people that did have bed bugs. Also got MRSA 2 years ago from this place

You're better off sleeping on the streets

While much of America has been overburdened by homelessness and works to sweep the least fortunate beneath the rug, Denver Rescue(Jesus Saves) is literally a shining light in the darkness. The staff are understanding, empathetic, and kind. Turning away no one without cause and offering a multitude of services to help clothe, feed, and care for the unfortunate who find themselves upon these steps. Offering counseling and housing services across the city, I was put in touch with a team of wonderful staff, who, in a very Christlike manner, live to serve and provide guidance, especially, to those who are genuinely looking for it.

I was greeted warmly with a meal during my wait to be seen and witnessed ultimate humility, compassion, and service. Every case was heard. People were processed and offered the privilege of a bed and bussed to them. While, in the surrounding city, the horrors of mental illness and addiction are abundant, here stands a refuge and a way out from it. Drug testing kits and Narcan are graciously abundant.

Social workers are veterans of the reality that they inhabit daily but are not so hardened not to dole out compassion and listen to the plights of those so often ignored or treated cruelly by the world at large. Really listen and understand from a place of streetwise experience. I was able to be connected with resources to see a doctor, to get glasses and medications, to find a safe place to sleep, food to eat, a place to receive and retrieve mail, to obtain identification, and a support network of caring, compassionate people who want to see others succeed. Thank you for everything that you all do, you are walking in the steps of Christ, and angels for everything you do. Your brother is not so heavy, thank you for helping me to get onto my feet. I hope that I can repay this kindness, and likewise have the opportunity to guide and help those in need in your likeness in the future.

God puts people in our lives for a reason. This rescue mission is the most loving place. I was hesitant about going to seek help but everyone was as kind caring and genuinely concerned of my safety. I Thank you All, and may God continue to bless you and all you do for his children.

It basically looks like a third world country outside of this establishment. There is constantly garbage on the streets blowing around and people loitering. I personally dont feel safe passing this block because of the shambles the denver rescue mission is in.

Beware Of Alexis.
They question gender which is essentially a lawsuit, via HIPAA.
Got DNR; event hough the case manager disagreed with my suspension.
Have to wait 28days before I can even appeal.
I hope their ready.
#StayVigilant
They have toy-soldiers they send at you to get you DNR if staff doesn't like you.
It's not Park Ave thats the issue; it's the staff from Lawrence Street (RecCenter) that's the issue.
Staff should be better trained on respect and HIPAA.
Especially when original day staff leaves; the "others" run this location like they have a vendetta to prove.
The caseworkers and security try to assist but the "bulldozers" rule this business.
#BewareOfAlexis
They DNR me for taking up for my non-binary partner, but didnt DNR us both. Prior to DNR; i had a toy-soldier attempt to flex. I guess that was the original attempt to get me DNR. When that failed; then Alexis flipped her switch.
Go figure.
#GoodCaseWorkers
#DisrespectfulRecStaff
They will talk shit directly in front of your face to get you to react then your not allowed to utilize their services.
Can't appeal anything until after the DNR period is over; hoping that you would forget or not care enough to follow through once you've been disrespected, and neglected.
Just remember: "JesusSaves, Not DRM; esp. Lawrence location."
