Hello! I spoke to a representation about a street light in front of our house that was not working. The gentleman was very courteous,, kind and professional and agreed to repair the light as soon as possile. 2 days later the street light was fixed and we are very happy! Where we live in Montrose is completely black at night and very hard to make your way around. That you for your prompt service we appreciate it very much! Best regards!

Four stars for Jessica in Customer Service, who is helpful and patient when I get frustrated with how weird, wonky, and clunky your payment system is. Your "smarthub" gets 2 stars.

It's 2025, do better.

Rates are ridiculous and there is no real grace period to pay. But they don’t care because we have no choice but to go to them. We need a different honest power company around here then maybe they will have to actually change a few things to keep business. If there was a choice i would go elsewhere even if rates were higher since DMEA has no customer loyalty at all. Only $$$ on their mind. Two weeks late and they are disconnecting electricity. My grandson lives with me and we fell on hard times due to health issues. Always been paid on-time previously, one time late two weeks and they disconnected my power. I have a six year here trying to do homework with no power.

Charge me a late fee of 20.00 dollars. Bill was due on 15th mailed on 11th should of gotten it on the 13th. Didn't processed it until 16th. One day late fee 20.00. will not mail payment anymore because it goes to Grand Junction. They don't care about you, over 10 plus years never a problem, until now. I'll drive the 13 miles an drop it at the box in Montrose.

The bill due dates keep changing. I call and get told well when you have 40,000 something meters we have a day specific due date. Other power companies have a much larger client base and yet, they still bill at the same time every month for customers. How odd….
I have had power in my name in four different states for well over 30 years and have never heard of this insanity. Joe said this works for us, well of course it does. No better way to messomeone’s budget than to keep changing a due date! DMEA needs to do better, just another small money hungry power company.
Just needed to add, watch you final bill! For a house that was vacant for two months. My final bills were $103.12 and $74.57. When I called, I was told they bill 45 days in the rear, balances still don’t add up with the bill being lower for electric when there was a family living in the house.

Your online account services for paying bills is still unworkable!
I just went through all this last month getting it all "fixed" and
it still doesn't work. Your team has tried to help but I don't think
it's fixable. I would recommend a Back to Paper and stamps approach!! Much more efficient!!

We are residential power and internet customers. Our assessment is that DMEA / Elevate deserve a solid 5 star rating. Rates are very reasonable, and contact with the company associates has always been prompt . They have gone our of their way more than once to assist us, even when I cut the internet optical cable. Many thanks and all the best DMEA.

I am grateful to DMEA for all that it does for the community but have lost faith in their customer service staff, especially those who handle billing. When I call, I nearly always have to coach the person assisting me.

On several occasions, I’ve been told everything is fine, only to find out it’s not. Once I called in with a new credit card number only to get a shut off notice. I called immediately and spoke to a new person, and was assured the problem was fixed. Then someone came to my house to shut my power off, and I had to go through all this again. This then happened a second time—with someone coming to my house to shut off my power. This sort of thing should not happen to responsible customers.
