This weekend, Nov 12-13 was an utter disaster. Dear Music Festival was the most unorganized event I’ve ever attended and was absolutely nothing like what was advertised. When we arrived at 10am there was no event staff from the festival there to assist us. Mind you the flyer and confirmation email said you could set up starting at 6am, and there were people who arrived at that time as well. At 11am the gates were still locked and absolutely no one knew what to do or where to go. There were vendors arguing because they were set up side by side, however they both sold the same items. There were 2 vendors who stated that by 1pm, they actually saw the host of the event and she claimed to have had surgery on on her stomach Friday night and they let her out of the hospital Saturday morning, and she would not be able to stay, nor introduce herself. The Atlanta police department showed up and was clueless about the event but knew something was wrong because of the amount of vendors and “participants” that were in attendance. Again, they were unable to reach the event coordinator as well. The “festival” was nothing but a shy attempt to collect money from vendors. Upon reading the reviews of her previous events it’s despicably apparent that she goes around and runs this scam from state to state. Myself as well as other vendors have contacted our banks, lawyers and the news stations with all of the documented information pertaining to this event. This was a deplorable way to represent the city of Atlanta.

We had high hopes for an event that this organization hosted this past weekend at Piedmont Park in Atlanta, GA. Unfortunately, it was anything but that. Many of us showed up during the load in times they provided(6a-7a and 10a-11a) to a locked gate and pitch black darkness with no help to be found, even the bathrooms were locked. There was no guidance or organization to the event and it is a total shame that they took money from hard working small businesses and did nothing but leave us in the dark. We have been unable to reach anyone from the event team and never saw anyone at the festival on Saturday(altho there was talk of a mysterious woman with red hair that no one could find). We ended up packing up and leaving at 2PM with others as no one was there and we still had not seen an event person(nor had many other vendors we spoke with). An APD officer did show up at one point and asked if we knew who was hosting and we did not. He also stated to us as we were leaving that some random man came up and asked him to make us stay and he declined and said that he could not do that as there were no signed contracts.

Complete ripoff. We've also reached out to our bank to dispute this charge and are consulting with a lawyer on any avenues we may have to hold this organization accountable for their actions this past weekend.

Vendors and others BEWARE. They hype up events, take your money and then go silent when the event arrives claiming they can't be on the phone because they are "busy working." Lies. We arrived to locked gates and no staff this past weekend at Piedmont Park for a festival this organization was hosting. I've contacted the IRS, the APD and others to submit complaints. BEWARE.

Horrible organization for a festival this past weekend November 12-13 2022. Vendors were all over the place attempting to set up shop at Piedmont Park but no one was there to give direction or show them where they should be, many people after hours of waiting and trying to figure out what to do gave up. Seems like this non profit took everyone’s money and could care less about the community this festival was to support. Thanks for nothing!

The most unprofessional event that I have ever attended and worked at. There are no words to explain what sham of an event this is … well one word does come to mind - Scam. We’ve requested refunds and no communication - go figure. DO NOT BE A VENDOR OR TAKE PART IN THIS SCAM!
