I called to volunteer my time and resources. I got no answer and got a call back about an hour later. A very rude women answered and started asking who I was and why I was calling.

Not exactly the tone or delivery I expected from a non profit working with children. Its a shame people are involved with the community and can be so jaded. My wife heard the call and was also shocked at the way the women talked to me only to say "I don't answer anybody who doesn't leave a message" then hang up.

complete waste of time and weird arrogance. I pray for those kids and this organization with leadership that lacks discipline and manners.

Jan has a big heart for children and has played a crucial role in my growth. She is one of a kind and has done so much for kids all over the world. Her stories and she works hard to make impact directly with children in rough areas of society. She has done so much for kids even when she had little but still is able to create big things. She has a drive and passion to help where it directly helps children and her words are gold to help a child see a brighter future and conquer the world. Her resources all go to helping kids and I can say Jan is an amazing person!

I was trying to volunteer here at this location and this lady just kept asking personal questions that had nothing to do what we were talking about then when I said I don't feel comfortable talking about it she said I had to find somewhere else
To respond to that what you just post first off the lady was very rude talking over me the entire time also do you know how difficult it's is for a single father to raise 2 kids by himself? She asked questions I answered till she start asking where my kids mom was at.

Called and spoke with the owner in regards to trying to send care packages to families affected by shootings. In the middle of me speaking she hung up in my face. As non-profit organization this left a horrible taste in my mouth and quite frankly I don't see how they are of service to the community. Like I am appalled that someone just hung up in my face. Poor business ethics. HORRIBLE
