Praise the Lord for the work He is doing through this ministry. They have been such a huge help by providing the food that our church gives to those families in need. Also, I found the class “When Helping Hurts” to be very beneficial. Logistically I couldn’t ask for anything better. They are well organized and communicate well.

My experience with daily bread ministries started back in 1995, my mom and I started volunteering there when it was located downtown (the old toduz market place) this ministry has helped hundreds of churches and thousands of ppl with donations which are donated to this ministry. They are a blessing to all of us whom have needed a hand. I am blessed to have been able to have been a volunteer for this ministry, as my momma continues to volunteer with them as well. If you volunteer here your life will be changed! It’s a great place to volunteer! Ty DBM for the experience! God bless you all!

Hi my name is Karen Janszen. I am the service board chairman with Good News Lutheran Church in San Antonio. Our church partnered with daily bread in March, 2013. The experience & relationship we have developed with daily bread is beyond words. Marcus & the staff are truly a blessing to our community not just for our weekly pantry program but because we are all friends. They care about the ministries & their needs. I am the leader of the food pantry program & I look forward each week serving the community. I love the visits we receive from Marcus & his staff. I invite anyone to visit our pantry program held every Wednesday. Even during this pandemic we are reaching out with having a drive thru distribution.
