Excellent non-denominational church!! The pastors teach their lessons in a way that is easy to understand, hits home and encourages personal growth.
The 3 services are great, no matter what is happening on my Sunday morning, I can easily make one of them work with my schedule.

Went to Crossroads to obtain a hotel voucher for a stay on a severe weather night (below 20 °and dry). Unfortunately the hotel left available was too far for us to stay at given my boyfriend had to be at work one of the two nights, and his place of employment was closer to the church than the hotel.

The individuals assisting us with getting the voucher were friendly and professional. They treated us with basic kindness and concern for our well being, much as if we were neighbors asking to borrow a cup of sugar, or a shovel to clear the walks.

This church houses a business (More Better Bikes) that provides service and maintenance to bikes as well as fully restored bikes so everyone has access to a good bike to ride. I'll be taking my bike in to have the tires switched to newer rims I was given. I'm looking forward to seeing the shop!

With my limited exposure to this particular church, I think it's a great location and easily accessible with people who are kind and giving to the public at large. This is definitely a church I will be looking into a bit more closely in the future to come.

Update: the folks at the bike shop were great. Unfortunately the rims didn't fit. Fortunately they were able to find rims that worked with my bike and tires. I was without my bike for just a few days, and it's been great ever since.

I'm glad they offer the opportunity for the homeless to be provided with shelter in the cold. But I waited for 3 and a half hours to get a voucher and when the line got to just one person ahead of me, they cut it off and I did not get a room for the weekend. I wouldn't be as frustrated if I didn't actually sit there and watch person after person seemingly taking far too long to get their vouchers. You know it's a time crunch and there is a room full of people equally deserving as everyone else, so maybe move a little faster when it's like this.

The lines are long the process is slow, however the staff work very hard to accommodate all the homeless people with places to stay. I noticed that people were being allowed to cut the line by friends of theirs closer to the front of the line. Many people get upset with the system. Also, I noticed a lot of sick people waiting in line coughing and sneezing. This could become a problem with spreading sickness because of the close proximity of each person to one another. I truly believe that that ticket system would serve to keep order, and to help prevent the spread of any sickness'.
Overall though I give 5 stars for the tireless job they do at Crossroads Community Center, regarding the SWAP PROGRAM.
