i had such a pleasure talking to Jack! he has been coming to Creede for the last 50 years and comes out every summer to volunteer. definitely chat with him! 🙂 even as an adult i did the scavenger hunt, and it was a fun way to take in the abundance of artifacts in there—plus your reward is taking home a cool rock! $3/per person

You must stop in and check out the history of this little mining town. Very informative and entertaining museum. Staff was nice and friendly. However, I find it very ironic that the museum is housed in the D&RGW depot, and the town voted to block railroad track from the city in 2008. Still, cool museum.
