I just left this place not too long ago and wanted to share my experience.
This was my first time coming since they moved to this new building in town.
I arrived at about 8am, I was attended to almost instantly. Patty helped me. She was very kind and patient. She went above & beyond to try to resolve my issue. She was soft spoken and even acknowledged & apologized for a possible mistake on their end. She did what was in power to help my case and I appreciated it very much. She even gave me a post sticker with her name in case I needed to go back.
I also had to scan some documents and the worker in that area was also helpful.
While I was there, I observed other workers helping other clients there and everyone seemed very friendly, in and out, or satisfied with their visit. I don't believe the rating towards phone calls should be considered because the phone number is not for REEDLEY only, it is for the general call center, which I understand is very hard to get through. But don't be discouraged about this office specifically. I did not encounter any rudeness or lack of help, however, I know we all have different experiences. So far, I most definitely appreciated Patty & wouldn't mind coming back for further assistance, if needed! Thank you. (:

If I could rate them zero I would. I hope the supervisor can see this. I will be contacting them to get information but in case I don't.

I am writing to formally express my concern and disappointment regarding the conduct of one of your employees, Patricia, during my elderly mother's recent visit to Reedley Social Services.

My mother visited your office this morning seeking assistance with some paperwork. Unfortunately, she found her experience with Patricia to be highly unpleasant and unprofessional. According to my mother, Patricia appeared disinterested in helping her and was consistently rude throughout their interaction. My mother, who cannot read or write, felt particularly distressed by Patricia’s demeanor and lack of patience.

Despite another worker's kindness and willingness to help, Patricia's involvement once again led to a negative experience. My mother described her morning as one of the worst, highlighting how Patricia’s behavior exacerbated her stress levels to the point where she felt physically unwell, given her high blood pressure. She was visibly shaken and upset as a result of this interaction, which affected her ability to proceed with her day, including going to work.

As a social service agency, it is crucial to offer compassionate and respectful assistance to all clients, especially those who might already be apprehensive about seeking help. My mother’s experience raises serious concerns about how other elderly or non-English speaking individuals might be treated by Patricia.

I urge you to investigate this matter and consider providing additional training to ensure all employees uphold the standards of professionalism and courtesy expected in your line of work. No one should leave your office feeling more stressed or disheartened than when they arrived.

Thank you for your attention to this matter. I trust you will take appropriate action to address these concerns and improve the services offered to our community.

Can't seem to get anyone on the phone, adding people to our case that shouldn't be there or having issues adding people who should be there, never can get a call back if leaving a message. Website not working right can't use request a call back option. This is a poor way to run a department that's meant to help people. Have to go in today to fix Thier messes ups so we don't get over paid.

Never answer phone and when i go in its always fill this and this out but i never leave feeling like ok this got done its so annoying i swear this whole building should be shut down
