Extremely grateful for Anchor Academy and the staff working there. As a WAGEES partner with Parole, they have helped me reintegrate back into normalcy after serving 2 years in the Department of Corrections.

They offer 2 FREE haircuts by some extremely talented barbers. From casual wear to business professional, they have a relatively large selection of FREE clothing available at all times in all sizes for both men and women. They also purchased all of the brand new power tools that I needed for my job and actually gave me a $50 Visa gift card as an incentive for gaining employment!

They also gave me a brand new mountain bike which helped me get to work until I was able to save and purchase a vehicle.

They always have a pot of coffee brewing and if you catch them during lunch they often times have food available for free!

They help with resume building, forklift certifications every Friday, and their online portal has access to tons of training courses for various career fields.

Overall, Anchor Academy is an absolute blessing to the justice impacted community in Colorado Springs and I am forever grateful for everything they do for those who are often overlooked and underestimated.

Shout out to Chris Lewis for all of the hard work he puts in week in and week out! You're the man, for real!

God bless Anchor Academy and may they continue their service for decades to come

I will start off by saying the overall mission and purpose of the program is a great concept. I will say they need to work on getting more training classes not geared towards male dominated industries also so of the staff needs to work on the expectations they set in regards to any type of assistance they do offer.
