The steps seem much bigger when I was a child!! I grew up in Globe and I was happy to see that beautiful building used to show off beautiful art. I love going on weekends to see what's new. I love the seed bank, but people, let's get it filled up, I'll be donating melon seeds that I've been saving. ❤️ Please go check it out, it's lovely.

A must-see place not only for the art displayed inside but also the historic building housing the artwork. I am glad the good citizens of the town and the county decided to rescue the courthouse from demolition and turn it into an art gallery. Be prepared for many steep stairs. There are 25 steps just to go in the building from the street. The curator was super friendly and knowledgeable.

Nice escape from the Phoenix heat!

Our visit to Cobre Valley Center for the Arts began with a docent's review of the old courthouse and its conversion to the center for the Arts. We wandered freely through the many rooms converted to art galleries. It was quite interesting and enjoyable. All the art is for sale. There is also a small gift shop and a free seed exchange library!
Admission to the Cobre Valley Center for the Arts is free!

While you're in Globe, make a day of it! There are good restaurants among the old buildings in the historic district and multiple other historical museums to visit, including The Gila County Historical Museum, the old County Sheriff's Office and Jail which is located behind the Arts center, and Besh-Ba-Gawah Archaeological Park/museum.

Art museum for local artists to display their wares. The Robot display alone is worth a visit.

Went to see the quilt show. The ancient building was reclaimed and turned into a local museum and trade show spot. Loved the architecture of this 100++ year old building.

Ok size of a museum, but it's free. The history is cool if you get a chance to talk to someone on the desk. They sell a lot unique art like quilts and paintings. They also have a antique shops downstairs.

This was a nice spot to cool off at and enjoy some art; it's a series of steps to get up. The admission is free although donations are welcome.
Inside there are various rooms with art- and most are for sale. There were many different styles, including abstract.
The employees made me feel at home, even showing me the downstairs antique area. Looks like the upstairs is closed, but very beautiful historic staircase.
