I wanted to clarify my experience was from a Tenant's Viewpoint only. The employees are exceptional, however I am just now finding out City Serve provides housing to those who have problems with Substance Abuse.
My experience while waiting for our Apts to pass inspection has been while we lived in hotels for a year and 8 months, these 'At Risk Substance Abusers are offered no Recovery Programs and No Intervention in the Interim.
I would have loved to know these facts up front...total transparency from the staff about their Mission Statement.
It is indeed Admirable. It just appears I was misplaced in this program.

The Elevate Kern was supposed to open for leasing last July. Then the Construction came to an abrupt halt for months resulting in more delays. The website changes from a 1 bedroom to a Micro 1 BR size of a small studio and it became Transitional, instead of a solid place to call home.
